Super 8 by Wyndham Superior WI - Hotel in Superior - 4901 E 2nd St, USA

This hotel has a beautiful entrance with flowers and enjoyable signs! Grace and gratitude! We were happy to be greeted by Mary when we checked in! The hotel has been updated since we stayed here last very nicely! The room was clean, cozy and comfortable! All necessary items are in the room! (Shampoo, blow dryer, fridge and microwave) Also vending machines are reasonably priced. |There is a handy gas station and a restaurant nearby.

Mary takes care of her customers! There was a slight mishap with our room. She made sure to make it right. She got us into the super 8 in Duluth and paid for our first night because of the mishap. For the brief moment we saw our room it looked clean and spacious. The location is not the best it's a little far from most tourist things. Regardless of location the service is amazing. If you're in the Superior area and need a place to stay I recommend checking this hotel out.

This is not a large or fancy hotel by any means......but it is clean and comfortable for the most part. The rooms are just that, rooms, and not very large but the beds are comfortable and bathrooms well equipped with soaps etc and good towels. Breakfast area is small with a limited selection, but it's sufficient for a healthy bite. The staff are all friendly and efficient. The prices in the twin ports area seem to be very high these days, so the hotel business is booming. This property was somewhat more affordable than those in Duluth.

I usually stay at a cheaper place, due to me being a small business owner, just starting out. I need a room in Superior, once a week. After taxes, it was almost $140.00, just to sleep 6 or 8 hours. Clean and comfortable room, and bed. Thank you, I do wish was more affordable. It's nicer to stay in town!

Mary at the front desk was so very kind, patiently explaining the higher-than-usual rate (tourist season on the Lake!) and the likelihood of my finding anything less expensive up the road. I decided to stay and am so very glad I did; Mary was a competent host, the bedding was high quality and the breakfast better than at many comparable motels. Thanks, Mary!!

Room was exceptional. We are budget travelers and have low expectations for budget hotels, and our room was just amazing— updated and modern. Beds and pillows were so comfy. Lobby was a bit small and dated; staff were very helpful and courteous. No elevator. We were expecting a hot breakfast, but the cold options were plentiful and fine. We tried to book a night for our return but there were no vacancies.

Staff was professional and friendly. Loved having a restaurant right next door. Breakfast was a great surprise with breakfast burritos and alot of choices. Mattresses were super soft and rooms were exceptionally clean. Going through some renovations, so some updates still coming.

I stayed here for one night and really liked it. Checking in was a breeze and we were in our room in no time. Overall very nice and clean room. Had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Had a desk as well. Can't say anything about the TV as we didn't use. I loved the bathroom. Super clean all over, including the shower curtain. Had all the towels and Dove shampoos which was a plus. The only reason for 4 stars is breakfast. They had cereals, oatmeal, toast, bagels, fruits and yogurt. No hot food, which was a disappointment to some people. Also the seating to eat was a bit out of the way. Otherwise, a great place to stay.
