Super 8 by Wyndham Sulphur South - Featured Reviews (6)
We were there 2 days the room was infested with black mold that was poorly covered by paint. My husband started coughing pretty badly. We are looking for a house here. So we figured it was just allergies. We booked a second night and his coughing got worse then wheezing that night I noticed the black mold. We then went to the E.R. where we were told it was black mold. We informed the hotel and they got angered. They would change our room to one that doesn't have black mold and that was handicap accessible as soon as the people left that room well they didn't change the room we ended up having to sleep in the same room when we went back the room hadn't even been touched by a housekeeping so they put us in a dirty room with the black mold. Then after complaining to Wyndham about the incident the owner had offered us 20% or refund. I mean you would think that they would appreciate somebody forming them of black mold that way and nobody else became ill or possibly died from the situation. Then in complaining to win them and having them get on on to them about it they got angered and came up to us that we had to vacate the property and we were no longer welcome there or to rent rooms from them. So if you choose to stay at this hotel please check your room thoroughly and make sure there is no black mold and that is properly cleaned see me as how they don't like to do stuff like that.
The rooms are clean and its quiet at night plus the wifi is great! Ill be returning in the future !
Yes Yes Yes Yessir me and my daughter loved it unbelievably nice
I looked at many pictures of this hotel online and thought it was just beautiful. When we got to the hotel the outside had green ish mold which should have been an indicator but I went and checked in at the front desk anyways. The clerk didn't even greet me with a hello or anything he was playing with his phone the whole time. When we did get our room keys we went and opened the door and I there was stuff all over the out side of the door when we walked into the room we noticed the filth that was every where. The tub was NASTY and so was the bed, floors, and celling. The window seat had stains all over it as well. I was very upset about the room itself, they would not give me a refund to go somewhere else either. I will never stay here again and hope this has been helpful to someone else.
I had a blast here. Everyone was really nice. The room was nice and clean. Great rates! They got a hot breakfast now and the waffles were delicious. They also have biscuit and gravy. The lobby was nice and clean and everyone was professional.
This motel looks good from the outside with pale wooden boards but the apparent quality quickly vanishes inside. Dark, dingy and small rooms didn't make for a very pleasant stay (why don't they cut back some of the undergrowth obscuring the windows?). It was even cheap!
Worst hotel ever. Would not receommend this hotel to my worst enemy. If I had a choice between sleeping on the streets and staying in this hotel for free I would sleep on the street. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD. ROOMS WERE DIRTY. TOWELS are holey and dirty. FLIES AND BUGS IN ROOM. Management does not want to work with customers to make things right. I was told by the Manager that if he is not working and the establishment was on fire he still would not answer the phone to take care of customer complaints or emergency, That goes to show what this establishment cares about your safety or well being. This establishment and the peolpe that work for this location needs to be re-trained on customer service, service and the proper way to run a business or be fired.|
Not the best location you want for a vacation probably, but the staff is very nice, very helpful, and for the price it's worth it.
Loved the area, Cracker barrel next door. Beautiful Location. Friendly Staff, Natalie was Very Helpful. Stopped in from Vacation in Port Issabel, TEXAS. Was traveling back to Virginia. Stopped in Louisiana, Great American Owned.
Clean quiet hotel, easy on/off interstate. Modern rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Hot showers and comfortable beds. I travel for work and stayed here about a month ago. I chose to stay here again because it is hard to find a clean reliabl
This place is very cool. Multiple fields to battle on with selection on jelly or paint balls. They are available for bday parties which makes this place even more fun
Best brisket, stuffed tator, and banana pudding west of the Georgia/Alabama line! Seriouslyâ¦Iâve traveled all over the USA and had bbq in lots of places. This is one of the very best. Great service too! A little sad they donât have a place to e
Good seasoning and plenty of big ones. Great customer service. Messaged them before we went to ask if their seasonings are gluten free, and they were great about checking it for us! It's good to have another place to eat for celiacs.
WORTH THE DRIVE!!!! We've been wanting to try the burgers at Dairy Barn and finally got the chance. There was a line when we walked in and I completely understand why. Ashley greeted us and took our order and Amy took care of us at the register. I d
Surprisingly good food. Stopped here while traveling and so glad we did. We shared a fried fish and shrimp combo. Crispy hot and delicious. Plenty for two.
