Super 8 by Wyndham Radcliff Ft. Knox Area - Hotel in Radcliff - 395 Redmar Blvd, USA

I stayed at Super 8 in Radcliff, KY this past weekend. Before booking, I was impressed with the price. I wasn't looking for a hotel to "entertain" me; I was merely looking for a clean place to shower and sleep and this place hit the mark on exactly what I was looking for. Very clean, very adequate, and I sometimes have trouble sleeping when I travel, but the bed and pillows were awesome, and I slept like a baby there! I am frequently in the Radcliff area so I'm sure I will be back again. Oh, and the bottled water and small can of Pringles when I checked in was the nicest touch! No complaints from me...just praise!

We were on our way to Mammoth Cave with our camper but we got a late start and it got dark and my partner decided to just to crash here for the night. I had very low expectations of Super 8 and planned to throw a mini fit but was pleasantly pleased by our room. I mean its not the Four Seasons but our room was very clean, it was big and nicely laid out, and they had coffee and yogurt in the morning. Which to me is amazing for a Super 8. Great value.

Location and price was good for our visit to Fort Knox. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed a good nights sleep. Check in went well and staff was friendly. The breakfast was a bad experience. They were out of most of there very limited food items. When I asked for coffee to be made and milk to be refilled the staff on duty ignored me. Watched her sit on her phone eating chips and drinking pop. Finally several people insisted she do her job.

If all you need is an inexpensive and clean place to sleep and a shower close to Fort Knox, this place is fine. Check-in was difficult because the person spoke poor English and my hearing impaired spouse struggled to understand. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs if you get a second floor room. It was also really difficult to get our room key to work. The room was small, but it was very clean and had amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, ironing board, and hair dryer. The breakfast was two kinds of dry cereal, toast, and some yogurt. The coffee pot was empty when we arrived for breakfast and the coffee pot in our room didn't work correctly though. OK for those on a tight budget.

We came in from Texas for our daughters Graduation ceremony at Fort Knox. The location was great it was about 5 minutes away from Base. AC in the room worked great very cold, lobby was cleaned staff was friendly loved the Gazebo outside with swing and sitting areas. Convenient store steps away from Motel is good. The Property manager Neal was very Professional and Courteous.

While on the outside it looks good, the rooms or at least the one we stayed in had broken furniture and stains on the chair and cover sheet. Staff was very nice and location to Fort Knox was very close. Our son was trying there with the Army.

The room stunk horribly. The ceiling was falling down in the shower and there was mold on the walls. We got them to move us to another room which didn’t stink as bad but had mold on the walls in the bathroom.

I am a veteran and I stay there when I go to FORT KNOX people who|work there are friendly and ready to help. This time I need their help my credit cards are in debt reduction. I need to pay by cash. I really like staying at|SUPER 8 has very clean rooms.
