We don’t leave around the area. We came for a family event and we didn’t want to drive back home because it was far. We decide to stay here bad decision ever!!!!! We get to our Rooms and in the bathroom they were 2 cockroaches and the sheets were layered up the bottom sheets were blood stains. We went to front desk and ask for a refund. They didn’t want to give a refund and they try giving us another room and in the second room the pillows had ants. We show the front desk person and he tried given us their best rooms. We denied them. We were about to call the police because they were refusing to give us our money back. I had my 3 children with me how are we putting our kids to sleep in a room with all this messiness. Stay away from here!!!
This past week, my husband and I were called to the area to be with a relative at the end of their life. We had no clue how long we would be in town, so we picked a low cost hotel. We ended up staying 5.5 nights. Our only requirements were that it was clean and the door locked. We just needed a place to sleep and shower. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. What this hotel doesn’t have in bells and whistles, that would send its price up, it has in service. One night, a group of young men were staying there and they had been drinking. One of the guys followed me outside when I went to smoke. The manager followed him, chasing him back inside and told me he wasn’t going to allow him to bother me, especially because he was drunk. The manager made me as a small female feel safe. When housekeeping cleaned our room, the kindnesses and respect they showed for our personal items was above and beyond. To top it off, our last night in town was spent sitting up all night with our relative. When we got back to the hotel that morning, we were supposed to check out, but we needed to sleep before we could make the trip home. We were willing to pay for a full night for this, but being we were not staying the night but rather checking out early evening, they gave us a discounted rate for that time. This trip was very hard for us and we expected very little from the hotel due to its cost being low, but the staff definitely surprised us and made a difficult trip a bit less stressful.
This is a good hotel for a bed while visiting from out of town. As a full time caregiver for an 108 year old we found the room clean and orderly. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The biggest downfall we found was no automatic door at the entrance so using the wheelchair wasn’t as easy as it could be but it never stopped us from coming and going throughout the day. When we needed more towels or help with the vending machine the staff was easy to find and happy to help.
I found the bed to be comfortable but after seeing the filth in the bathroom I decided to sleep on top of the bed and on top of a blanket. It did not pass my black light test. And my door had no chain even though it had a deadbolt lock.
This hotel is so nasty. My room smells so bad. The bed wasn't clean at all. The bathroom was so disgusting. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned for months. Plus I didn't feel safe. Too many people infront of the main entrance hanging auround that were not staying at the hotel. It was my mistake to think the super 8 was a decent and safe hotel. Don't make the same mistakes. Do not stay at this hotel. look for a better hotel around Peoria please.
Service was very good, however, there were some issues. Smoke detector was open with no batteries inside, shower/tub and curtain were stained and dirty. Half of the towels were stained as well. Floor did not look vacuumed but the rest of the room was fine to sleep for one night.
I absolutely love staying at the Super 8 in East Peoria! It’s my home away from home❤️. They keep the hotel very clean and quiet! Perfect for a day short or extended stay! The breakfast is always stocked cleaned and ready to go and the staff is always smiling and very polite! They are my family away from my family!
The room I was given was awful. Not very clean and dusty. The bath tub was nasty looking, the sink faucet sprayed water every where. Was given another room which also wasn't the cleanest but was a little better. Unfortunately too late I found the heat didn't work and I was so cold I had to put my coat and clothes on and sat in the chair the rest of the night. Will never ever stay there again. Too many bum looking people hanging around the front of the place
Overall a really nice place to stop for a night or two. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the faucet in our shower felt loose and the temperature changed a couple of times. Breakfast and appetizer in the bar wer
No issues here! Clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Stayed during a bad ice storm and they did a great job of keeping salt on the lot and sidewalks. The rooms are older-styled, but still in great shape. I prefer the old style,
We had a great first time at this park! It was a hot day on our visit but there are several shaded spots. Beware of the turkey! It âbitâ my toddler through the fence, but he was totally fine. Iâm sure it was just used to people feeding it throu
