I stay at super 8 often so I was looking forward to a familiar place to stay. When I got there the lobby looked very updated so I thought it was going to be an exceptional stay. The front guy greeted me and got me a non smoking room. The hallway leading to my room however reeked of smoke. I opened the door to my room and surprisingly it didn't smell like smoke but instead the room smelt awful like mildew or mold. I was in room 123. The room wasn't cleaned well. There was hair in the sink and the floors were a bit dirty. Beds were made up nicely. I wasn't given the wifi but it was so late when I arrived I just decided it wasn't worth going back out. I woke up by 8 because they said breakfast only ran till 9 and when I got there there was 1 muffin, 2 yogurts and a couple granola bars and sausage biscuits that need warmed up and should be kept in the fridge but weren't. I wouldn't even call it breakfast. I was not impressed and I would not go back there. I understand why it was given such low stars. The one in rock port Missouri has been the absolutely best one I've ever stayed at.

Comfortable and clean. Make sure you have your reservation in print. They couldn't find mine until I produced my printed proof. Hair dryer wouldn't work. Had problems with a couple of plugs. No elevator. Granola bar or cereal for grab and go breakfast provided. Indoor pool. Not too bad for a one night stay.

Literally the worse hotel i have ever stayed at. Would not recommend even for the cheap price. I came for a conference i had to go to with my friends. The rooms were nasty, we told them and they didn’t give a discount like they promised. They said “free breakfast.” The breakfast was packs of mini muffins and nothing else. The pool closes at 7. I have never been to a hotel with a pool that closes at 7. Keep in mind we were at a conference at another place and wanted to come back to a pool and hot tub (which doesn’t bubble). The hallways and basically the whole hotel/ room reaked of marijuana. We had to check for bed bugs if that says anything because we were scared. The only positive is the young guy at the front desk who was nice to us. That’s the only thing. So 100/10 do NOT recommend.

Our recent stay at [Hotel Name] was unfortunately marred by several significant issues that greatly impacted our overall experience. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that there were no towels available at the pool area. Despite requesting towels from the staff, we were repeatedly told they were "out," forcing us to resort to ordering towels through a delivery service to ensure our family could dry off after swimming. Additionally, our room lacked an adequate supply of towels, and despite requesting more, we received the same response that they were unavailable. This lack of basic amenities was frustrating and inconvenient, especially with young children in our party. One of the most concerning incidents occurred when my 7-year-old daughter inadvertently exited through a door near the pool, which was apparently designated as an emergency exit. A staff member, described as a small black man, responded by aggressively cursing at my child and threatening a $50 charge for using the wrong door. The signage indicating this was not clearly visible or at eye level, and the proximity of this door to the main exit compounded the confusion. The situation escalated unnecessarily as the staff member continued to berate and yell at us for over 20 minutes, creating a hostile and uncomfortable environment. Feeling unsafe due to his behavior and threats, I requested a refund for the remainder of our stay, as our basic expectations of safety and hospitality were clearly not being met. Regrettably, throughout our two-night stay, we did not receive any new towels or bedding, exacerbating our discomfort and dissatisfaction with the overall service. In conclusion, while the hotel facilities themselves were adequate, the lack of essential amenities like towels and the unprofessional conduct of a staff member marred what could have been a pleasant stay. We hope management addresses these issues promptly to prevent similar incidents in the future and improve overall guest satisfaction.🗣️ Something keeps biting me on my legs. I hate it here.

The breakfast was frozen mini biscuits and muffins. No tea or juice. The pool and hot tub were not good at all. Ask for 3 pool towels and was given 2. Was told I only have that. Do stay here

I stay here about once a year and often said it’s just a place to lay my head. Each time so far, though tolerable, my previous stays have had issues. Once, the shower curtain rod was hanging by one bent screw, and one that was stripped; holding the rod up, but not in place. Once, I was told not to turn off the AC or that staff would come in to “try” to turn it back on when they could. I've had a non-smoking room that forced me to go to the nearest store to buy ferbreze and air spray to make the cigarette odor tolerable. Also, this was the first year that the hall didn’t reek of Marijuana. I’ll never forget the first time I realized that the included breakfast was literally a community tupperware filled with frozen waffles, some yogurt cups, and fruit. Although I opted to eat elsewhere this year, there was a new addition of cereal this year. This time, my husband and 3-year-old traveled with me, and I said so when I booked the room, but no extra towels were offered to us. The staff were off-putting and borderline rude. It was painfully obvious that we interrupted the show on their phone when we came to check in. Our reservation didn’t exist until I found my confirmation email, only then could the staff find it. And for a week’s stay, I had to check out and back in the following morning. Not a big deal, I hadn’t had this issue before, but I know that without a code, it can be hard to find. We then went to our room as the staff resumed their show. We unpack, exhausted from the 14-hour drive. Once settled, I went to lock the door so our toddler couldn’t escape. But, the lock on the door was broken. The deadbolt worked, but it opened from the inside if you turn the handle. We decided to barricade the door with suitcases and deal with it the next day. When housekeeping knocked that morning we were still dead from travel. We handed off our used towels and went back to ignoring the world. A while later, I went to the front desk to ask about replacement towels since they took all of ours. I was told that they were still in the wash, and it would be a little while longer, to just give it some time and come back later. They eventually came to the room and handed me towels and washcloths that reeked STRONGLY of bleach and chlorine. Imagine the smell of just doing laundry in a pool, then soaking them in Clorox afterward. I set them aside as I had to leave soon. And it wasn’t until that night that I realized they were still wet from the earlier wash. A different day, I let housekeeping know that I would be out in 5 minutes if they could come back. They said sure, but when I returned, it didn’t appear they stopped by. It was at that time that the front desk told us weekends were too busy, and they would only do towels and garbage until Monday, which was cleaning day. I eventually had to go to the front and request towels again after we had already given my son a bath and dried him with a hand towel we had since they only took majority of the towels that day. It was then I realized they only had the towels that specifically went to each room. He didn’t ask which ones I need or how many. But gave me the exact number and sizes of what we were missing. The room was gross. The dust was piled so thick that there was no way Mondays were a cleaning day. The bathroom had drops of what looked like old cigarette tar. There was an unknown liquid dripping down the wall, which if judging by color, had been there a while. Our toddler was finding and trying to eat trash off the floor (from before us) that could easily have been vacuumed up. The front-desk staff was off-putting, and I didn’t want to cause more issues by talking with the other staff more than what had already been done. I know you “get what you pay for,” but unless something changes, this was my final attempt with this hotel. Don’t stay here! Just pay the extra and go elsewhere.

Great staff, good rooms, and a quiet bed every time I visit. They let me check in early if I arrive early and the main man has always been nice and respectful. Restaurants are close to the place, along with a truck stop, and a liquor store. Plus you can maximize your Wyndham rewards points here.

Booked a room for the weekend for my son and his brother’s birthday party so they could go swimming with their friends. It was only 5 of them in the pool, when the hotel manager said only 3 people from each room can be in the pool. Mind you this isn’t our first time here and I’ve never heard them say this before. So bottom line is their party was ruined and I will book here again!! 🤬🤬

Took a real long cross country trip and this was one of the stops. Super clean room and very friendly front desk and staff. Highlight was definitely Theresa and the breakfast. She helped us check an ingredient list to make sure my wife could eat it.
