BED BUGS! TONS OF THEM! Was in our room for over a week and a family member thought it was an allergic reaction to something, finally couldn't take it and went to the local urgent care and was told it's bed bug bites, over 30 of them. As soon as she got back to the hotel another family member came into the room and started searching, sure enough,an entire nest of bed bugs, everything from old dead ones to freshly being laid eggs that we have on recording. Immediately went downstairs and Bill, a great guy, immediately offered us four rooms to inspect and we could pick which room we wanted. None of the rooms are perfect but we chose the cleanest one. Bill also allowed us to put our personal pillows and blankets in the dryer to hopefully kill any bed bugs. The next morning I approached Heath and was brushed off being told he was already accommodating me by allowing me to change rooms. I replied that I wanted to file a written report and was denied. I then told him I have the bugs being birthed on recording and he suddenly became willing to listen to me. I ran upstairs and got my 6'5" son and wow, Heath all of a sudden began to listen to me. We showed him the videos of the bed bugs, cockroaches, ants, and my daughter-in-law's bites all over her body. He then offered us to put all of our clothes in the dryer and mentioned a spray that can also be used that's non-toxic. I asked for the spray for items that cannot go in the dryer like our luggage and he told me where to go buy it at Home Depot. Then he was having maintenance go check the room and would get back with me about a reasonable compensation. Well, after attempting to track him down the rest of the day he chose not to come back to me to finish our discussion. I then called Wyndham Customer Care, filed a formal complaint with the parent company. They emailed me a report number and allowed me to provide them with the videos. I then received a reply to contact the Franchise owner for this particular location and was given a photo number. The email also stated that they reported directly to her about this issue and they take this type of complaint very seriously. Saw the GM in the building in a room directly across from mine this morning and he didn't even knock on my door, saw him again while my son and I were walking around and got a hello as he quickly started looking at his phone. Honestly, at this point I'm thinking legal actions. Over $2,300 spent to stay at this location only to be checking out with bed bugs, infection from the bites, and after a mad dash to change rooms my son also suffered injury, that never should have happened because there shouldn't have been a complete infestation. I appreciate that this location is "better than it was prior to February" but that's not my concern. My concern is that there is a real threat to health and safety and the GM Heath absolutely does not care and uses the political rhetoric to try and say you are either lying or brought the bugs in with you. I'm not the only person in recent weeks, in different rooms that has complained about bed bugs. I'm only in the second room now because my new home will be ready on Sunday and they refuse to even speak to me about the compensation that HEATH mentioned.

Absolutely disgusting and filthy hotel. An entire nest of bed bugs on the bed, ants and cockroaches crawl on you when you're sleeping, mold and stains on the walls and floor. The toilet leaked and the tub was clogged, had to hold the bathroom sink up with my knee while I brushed my teeth. Our visit was so awful I went through the chain of command and found the owner of this franchise location and he told me to sue him, so I have obtained an attorney. The outside grounds are filthy and extremely unsafe for women especially... Stay away at all costs. There are other hotels in the area just down the road that are almost the same price, the extra couple of dollars are worth your health and safety. The amenities listed on the website are non-existent at this location, some rooms have a microwave, most don't. The refrigerator may be there but most likely doesn't work. The electric is hot or miss between outlets in the room. This place is awful, I don't think the state should even be paying to house homeless people in it, no one deserves to live in that filth. Oh, and ladies, bring a man with you if you need to speak to the GM Heath, he made it very clear to me that he wouldn't hear me until I brought my 6'5" son with me, then suddenly Heath acknowledged me

I have been coming to this hotel 2x per year for over 5 years as it was in a convenient location half way through my drive. It was always disgusting and smelled bad and felt... damp and musty. I had a reservation today and go to check in and now they no longer accept dogs and after my long drive I was turned away at the door after years of being a regular customer. Luckily, there is a red roof in down the street, it costs a little more but it's much cleaner, smells much better and the staff here are very nice and professional. I would have been coming to the Red roof in all along if I knew it was so close down the street. Feels much safer and just all around better in every way.

First room they gave us was already occupied. Second room had wall damage and only 1 table lamp. The AC leaked on the carpet. Continental breakfast was oatmeal packets and OJ. They had no sugar at all just "sweetener." When I tried to relate my stay to the front desk the clerk couldn't be bothered to look up from what she was doing. Will avoid this property in the future.

Ok hotel. Did us ok first our one night stay. Bed comfy. Black mould on the ceiling. Breakfast included ?? Bit of a joke. Photos tell the story. NO MILK for tea. Only creamer which was flavoured. Juice machine not working. Choice of two apples, porridge sachet, again NO MILK|Or a cereal bar. Only 3 of those left. Luckily there was a Denny’s next door. Whay not make a deal with Denny’s & include the cost of a breakfast in with the room cost ?? |Front desk staff couldn’t care a less

Positive: The price, easy access to the highway Negative: This hotel room did not have: a trash bin, a telephone, coffee maker, enough toilet paper, sheer curtains (so the heavy light-blocking curtain needed to be closed at all time), or tissues. The bathroom fan was surprisingly loud. The carpet was stained.

Disgusting hotel. I truly advice anyone not to come here. There is renovation going on in the basement and it looks like a construction area. The room smelled terrible. The floors are filthy. The breakfast is nothing. Stayed 2 nights. 1 day there was milk and cereals and next day no milk and cereal. I requested one cereal for my daughter and the staff refused. They were the mist unfriendly front desk staff I have seen. She even brought the cereals in front of me and did not even bother to give me one as if trying to say look we have but I am not giving you. This hotel deserves a zero for these unfriendly daytime front desk personel.

This place sucks and clearly the owners don’t care. Don’t stay here unless you are willing to put up with a decent level of nastiness. Cockroach in our room which we had to kill, no cleaning of our room unless requested (but they didn’t inform us of this at checkin), “free breakfast” was essentially non existent - a pile of oatmeal packets and some bad coffee and nothing else. The desk chair & carpets had horrible stains. Bed sheets seemed to have been cleaned but had lots of random hairs. As far as positives, the staff was decently nice, and it was pretty quiet at night and the rear side of the building has a forest.
