Super 8 by Wyndham New Orleans - Hotel in New Orleans - 6322 Chef Menteur Hwy, USA

I stayed for three nights and they were all excellent. We did not get our room serviced every day but it was not necessarily needed. Any extra towels needed we got from the front desk. Also there were trash bins outside to throw extra trash in between room cleaning. The breakfast was good for continental. It had waffles, cereal, muffins, apple and orange juice, and decaffeinated and regular coffee. There were also vending machines and the items were reasonably priced. Overall I say it was definitely a highly recommend.

Stayed two nights. The room was renovated nicely, the beds were comfortable, the ac was very good. Room looked clean but a roach and another unidentified bug found in the bathroom in the morning. Location is not in the best part of town but they have a gated parking area for guests which I appreciated. Right by the highway and not too far from the city center. The breakfast was lackluster and did not contain any fruit. BE WARNED, the frosted flakes are not frosted. They are REGULAR corn flakes in a frosted flakes container. The one redeeming feature was the presence of a waffle maker for fresh hot waffles. However, the machine was loud. Additionally the TV screen in our room was unusable because the screen was damaged. Booked a room online and showed up a few hours early. The lady up front was extremely nice and even upgraded our room on top of letting us check in early. The rooms are clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again

The attendants were nice and courteous albeit with a little heavy Indian accent. They provided us with extra blankets and towels we needed. The breakfast was limited with nothing cooked at the hotel. They had secure parking inside a gate so we felt safe although it was little tight.

There is not much surrounding the hotel as it is out of the way from the main city, but it is a more affordable and nice enough stay. We actually stayed at a fancy mariott for the first half our our week to attend a conference. Our experience with this motel was WAY better!! It may not be as fancy, but you get an affordable experience, clean rooms, and good service

Absolutely loved my stay!! For a discount hotel, it has everything you need! My room was clean (dated) but clean. Comfortable bed and pillows! great water pressure and AC! Pool was cleaned daily and was lovely! Staff are welcoming, personable and friendly! It is in a rough area, but we had no issues and everyone was very nice. I felt very safe and secure. Breakfast is alright, it had a waffle station, toast, muffins, some cereal and coffee, tea and orange juice! Uber was $16-$20 USD to get to the french quarter. Overall great stay and would recommend this hotel!

Chambre très spacieuse. Salle de bain accessible PMR mais attention il y a un rebord dans la douche d'environ 10 cm. Du coup, c'est compliqué pour faire les transferts lorsqu'on est en fauteuil roulant. Frigo, micro-ondes et machine à café disponibles dans la chambre.|Petit déjeuner correct. Personnel souriant et sympathique. Bon rapport qualité/prix pour la Nouvelle-Orléans. Situé à 15 minutes du Carré Français.

First this hotel is in the most Ghetto area ever! I am from Houston so I know good and bad areas! My husband was about to cancel and lose all our payment but I convinced him to stay the one night! Surprisingly enough the staff were super nice and room was VERY clean. The property is much smaller than it looks in the pics and very scary looking in person. Lots of out of town long term workers and partiers there but it was actually quiet. They did have the police patrol through the parking area every so often and it was gated with cameras. Breakfast was nothing and the coffee in the room was so old the coffee creamer came out in one piece! LOL No kidding! Oh well live and learn.
