Super 8 by Wyndham New Castle - Hotel in New Castle - 1699 New Butler Rd, USA

I chose this motel due to its low price and moderately good reviews. I paid in advance to get the best rate. The room it self was clean and bug free. The water pressure in the shower was good. There were two mini fridges and a microwave in the room. But there were a few things that were missing. First of all there was no elevator and our room was on the third floor. No big deal for me but my wife has bad knees. There was a coffee machine and ice bucket in the room but no coffee packets or drinking cups. Windows were open at the end of the hallway filling the hallway with 90+ degree heat and high humidity. There were individuals hanging around the front of the building that made me wonder if illegal activities were occurring.

This place is just fine. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was nice. If you're looking for Ritz-Carlton, and yes I have stayed there, then drop the coin. But, if you are looking for a crashpad as you cross the states, this is just fine.

I have never I'm my whole life had a rude disrespectful front desk lady I will never stay at these hotels ever again because of her I asked her repeatedly to stop harassing me I just woke and and need coffee it all started cuz I put a don't disturb sign on the door when cleaning rooms I have a room card in my hand and on the counter by me and she continues to say I need to check in when I told her I was already I have extremely bad anxiety and was shaking so bad that I just picked up my coffee and headed back to my room for safey and she chased me up the stairs and down the hall my Huddy was sleeping and woke up to hear someone arguing with me he pretty much meat me at out door and that women was right behind me still causing problem by this point I'm in a ball in our room on the floor freaking out and crying she has completely ruin or trip and oh yeah this all happened on our 18 wedding anniversary so Happy Anniversary to us so thank you so much for destroying this day for us

Members of the family have stayed here before. They are working hard to remodel and keep this location nice. We needed a place for the family to continue to greet our new born GREAT grandson. The night shift clerk, Pxx, was wonderful is letting us use the breakfast area. Thank you, Pxx. I would recommend staying here.

Bed bugs, mattresses stained with feces and blood, horrifically loud plumbing. Just not a great place.

I loved the experience here! Would recommend! I was visiting family and I needed a place to stay. Very kind front desk and housekeepers. Friendly service and were very accommodating to me! Breakfast was good and free. Overall I will stay here again next time I’m in town.

Positive: The location - It's in my home town. Negative: The hotel is a dump. There room was dirty, and the staff was rude. I called for a late check out and voiced my concerns about the hotel. The operator told me "Then don't stay here". I need this to go directly to Wyndham. Negative: ""
