The room we stayed in was very clean and definitely a pleasant stay. Breakfast could definitely be better. The chemicals in the pool was very strong so we didn’t enter the pool area. We could smell the strong smell from the lobby. We will definitely return if visiting that area again for the fact of how nice and clean our room was.

My recent stay at this hotel was highly disappointing and far below expectations. I encountered several significant issues:||||1. Noise Levels The noise from both the extensive construction on-site and other guests was unbearable, making it impossible to sleep. This ruined the primary purpose of my stay—rest and relaxation.||||2. Cleanliness and Maintenance: The room was dirty, with hair on the soap and visibly worn, rusted fixtures. The lighting was poor, with several bulbs out, which made the room feel dingy and uncomfortable.||||3. Condition of the Facilities: The hotel appeared outdated and poorly maintained. The old and rusted fixtures only added to the negative experience.||||4. Lack of Communication: Had I known the construction was so extensive, I would have never chosen to stay at this hotel. The fact that this was not communicated in advance is unacceptable.||||5. Early Check-In Fee: We were charged an additional $60 for early check-in, but there was absolutely no value in this. The room was subpar, and the fee seemed unjustified given the poor conditions.||Manager Unavailability: When I attempted to lodge a complaint about these issues, I was informed that the manager responsible for the hotel was unavailable. This lack of access to management is unacceptable and further added to my frustration.||

Excellent room. Pool was perfect after a long drive. The staff was helpful, efficient and friendly. The room was clean and well maintained. Best Super 8 we have EVER stayed in. Breakfast was fine. Microwave grab and go plus waffles always a treat.

I've made many trips to Nacogdoches over the last 30+ years, but this was my first time staying at this property. While the hotel is undergoing some renovation, it was not disruptive at all. The property is clean, pet-friendly, and just a short drive from the heart of Nac. With a great experience and great staff, I'll definitely be back.

The pictures online definitely make it look much better than it was. For whatever reason I was put in a handicap room. The computer system wouldn't pull anything up. They had to write my information down. Walking in the only thing I could smell was cigarettes and marijuana. Unsatisfied. My daughter and I traveled over 3 hours to get here and were so disappointed.. We had an appointment the next day at SFA (college) so I was hopeful to give her a great experience and to celebrate her achievements. Lord we were definitely surprised. This is far from a luxury hotel maybe a place for college students to turn up.. 😩 TERRIBLE a waste of money. Go to the comfort suites or quality inn.

The rooms are clean & accessible from indoors rather than outside providing an extra feeling of safety for the stay. The indoor hot tub/ pool are AMAZING! All of the staff is awesome especially the housekeepers and maintenance guy because they are always on top of things!

Where do I start. When I arrived , there was an ugly display of construction going on at the hotel. So many worker trucks that I could barely get into the parking lot. When I arrived the front desk clerk was very rude and seemed to not know much of what was going on. I asked her when a manager would be in and she stated she had no clue. Got to my room with my three kids and it was musty and smelled like cat pee. There was construction going on all through the hall way. TVs weren’t working. I stayed 3 nights and not one time did we have anyone clean the room. I even asked the second day to the same rude girl if someone can clean my room and got back later that day and it was not cleaned. I had to ask the front desk for clean towels and they seemed very inconvenienced to get them for me. The hot tub was yellow and pool did not seem to be cleaned as well. Couldn’t sleep due to the smell in the room plus smell of paint in the hallways that came into the room. Had to take my own trash out. Overall bad experience.

Positive: Under construction mattresses stacked in piles to the ceiling. Baseboards pulled off. Lights hanging from walls by wire. Damp carpet smelled like per. Loud hammering at 7:40am we bailed. Front desk gave us the option to leave room: strong urine smell Negative: Urine smell in room string. Carpet still damp from shampoo made urine smell worse. Ruined trip. We were there to get married. Changef our minds.
