Super 8 by Wyndham McKinney/Plano Area - Hotel in McKinney - 910 N Central Expy, USA

For a budget friendly hotel, we had a wonderful stay!! We never judge the "free breakfast" as our children were quite happy with it - and for those of you needing a place to stay due to a limited budget, this is the place!! Very quiet (checked in about midnight), room was nice, and the front staff was very accommodating!! We thank you for a wonderful stay!!! Kudos and best wishes to all!!!

The worse place I have ever stayed before, ended up having to file a complaint on a worker for assault, my room was barged into from to desk clerks, I was asked to leave without receiving my money back. Until a sergeant from Mckinney police came and corrected it. I wouldn't recommend anyone especially of color to go to that place, it isn't a place where you could feel safe. The rooms reek of a musty smell, the breakfast consist of old coffee and maybe if lucky a danish, pretty much a to go bag. It's not worth nowhere near the money they are asking to stay there. The only thing about this place, is I didn't see a bug. And the owner response is a big crock, he was the one that I addressed after the workers came into my room, without my permission, and stood on he wouldn't be returning my money, until I had Customer care on speaker and the Sergeant of the Mckinney police department state that I was able to press charges on his female worker. Then he had a change of heart in refunding my money, as if it was a perk. Pleading for me to not to go any further with my complaints, and had me sign a receipt. This is the absolute worst & cheapest super 8 I’ve ever been to. The room was some what clean but the tub was still dirty. THE CARPET HAD MULTIPLE STAINS! They like to make sure you are FULLY AWARE OF THEIR FEES! But cant seem to accommodate guest. The only reason i stayed was because of the pet friendly perk. But being hounded about paying the pet fee that i paid earlier upon checking in by the guy working at night that was sleeping when i woke him up about a waste bag. The bag they mentioned in the list of PET rules that they make sure is plastered on the glass. He was not the brightest bulb because after i asked him and pointed at the sign with the rules. He had the nerve to ask me if i paid the fee and then asked me my room number that i did NOT PROVIDE. It’s your job to communicate with the previous shift about matters of that nature. Also if i had not paid a fee why would i let you see or let you KNOW I HAVE A PET. 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️ Yall are so concerned about money and fees you neglect your real issues. You have roaches unlike EVERY OTHER SUPER 8 every where else you serve no breakfast. You need to hire OUTSIDE OF YOUR FAMILY. Thats why it looks the way it does and lack proper care it needs. People who are afraid to lose their jobs would do it right! You are in TEXAS ITS HOT YET YOUR POOL IS NOT OPEN. The washer machine water smells like sewage while washing. No ATM one vending machine every machine requires quarters. Ketchup mustard tap and debit cards are the new thing. With all the fees you all try to charge you should be able to AFFORD ALL OF THESE THINGS! I would never stay here again! I should’ve looked at the reviews first! Don’t be like me!

No waffle maker! This hotel is in a decent neighborhood and it has the potential to be better. I was very disappointed. My room was gross. I don't think the carpet has ever been cleaned. There was a faint smell of urine in the room, the bathroom smelled like sewer, the whole room smelled musky. We slept with our window open. The breakfast they have is granola bars (one per guest) and you have to ask for them at the front desk. The pillows are so cheap and flimsy they fold them up into cubes. I highly recommend staying somewhere else.

Good location a little hard to find the right entrance. Rooms were clean for the most part did find a used band-aid stuck to the drawer. Night service desk was on the day lady was rude would not say a word just look at you . For the price would stay again. Oh one last note people were going up and down the hallway all night not real noisy but just a side note.

Absolutely the worst.... False advertising for breakfast they do not offer anything, I've seen other reviews saying they give a hostess but I never seen anything. The coffee is colored water. Apple juice wasn't to bad. I was spending $90 a night and getting harassed by the employees. Room service beating on the doors early in the morning knowing I work 3rd shift and my cousin had literally just gotten out of the hospital after having a triple bypass heart operation so very little rest.... I was in the shower in room 314 the skinny long haired maid/Manager walked right in on me she opened the shower curtain and asked me where the missing towel was at, I am serious, that night we found a hurt kitten had it in a cage in a room nursing it the following morning when the same lady comes barging in saying you lie bout having a pet, I tried to explain to her it was injured in her hallway, she kicks us out at 8:23 am Knowing my cuz could barely walk, I get everything loaded and find out they won't refund the days was paid ahead they stole my money. 2 hours after leaving my cousin had to go back to hospital in a ambulance because of them stressing him so badly, he is in Frisco ICU now these crooks are responsible. Red roof inn is right down the streets it's cheaper then 2 beds are same as king in price and rooms are much nicer. Pay me my $81.97 you stole. Clean all the trash in parking lot up

It is an older hotel, but it is secure, has a nice pool, clean rooms, cold AC, and friendly staff. They have coffee, juice, and a vending machine downstairs, so no breakfast is provided. But it is still a nice hotel.

They have to do better about the building and the services and the rooms .cleanliness should be there. What happen to complimentary breakfast. Maybe the chain stores don't care about their buildings and their people , just only "The Money part. Remember that treating people right is their business and what earned them the attention and wealth. Let's try to do better. Thanks....
