Super 8 by Wyndham Macomb - Hotel in Macomb - 313 W University Dr, USA

I was here for one night on a business trip. I was greeted as I checked in. The rooms were small, but very clean. The bed was comfy. The stay was a great value and I would stay here again if in the area.

I stayed here on business twice a year apart. I was hesitant to try a super 8 but after having a terrible experience somewhere else with many more reviews and finding that place a nightmare I took my chances. The owners here were amazing! They showed me multiple rooms and they were all clean and the only odors were light cleaner. I have problems with odors and asthma so they let me pick the room that worked best for me. Any issue or concern was immediately addressed. They have a full time handyman that is always fixing things, but if they are not aware of it being an issue they obviously can’t fix it. They were very accommodating with my split work schedule and house keeping during both stays. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean, no bugs, no smoking odors that they were trying to cover up like other places. I love this place and highly recommend. I plan to stay here again

The room was extremely homey and very clean upon arrival. I was very surprised at how perfect our stay turned out to be. My husband and I had an amazing time in the jacuzzi room and the bed was big and comfy. I have zero complaints about my stay at Super 8.

I travel over 150 days a year for my job and stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly as i reserve in the Wyndham app. My room, a ground floor queen, was very clean, with a comfortable bed/ pillows but dated fixtures. Room access is via an interior door. The hallways and room smelled great. WiFi speed was 48.7 megs down, 36.18 up via Ookla. All of the normal amenities were in place, such as the microwave, small refrigerator and a nice 4 cup coffee maker. The hotel has 2 luggage carts. My digital AC/heater worked well. The television had a good selection of channels as well as a good picture. The breakfast area and lobby were very clean. The snack and drink machines are in the lobby. There is also a guest laundry available. Great staff and clean rooms, I would certainly stay here if in the area in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this place was. the front desk staff was very nice, the rooms were clean, me and my boyfriend went to get breakfast one morning, and they cleaned our room while we were gone despite us staying another night! the price is very affordable and I enjoyed my stay. would recommend!

It is very conveniently located near WIU. The manager is very nice. The breakfast is limited (cereal, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, bread, bananas, juice, and coffee). Phone didn't work in one room, and fire extinguishers expired 6 years ago.
