Super 8 by Wyndham Lenexa Overland Park/Mall Area - Hotel in Lenexa - 9601 Westgate St, USA

I recently enjoyed a 2-night, 3-day stay, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The highlight of the stay was the exceptional service provided by Ravi, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The additional discount he arranged was a pleasant surprise and made the trip even more enjoyable. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick stay on a budget.

We stayed here for a week and change while waiting for the new house to be ready for us. I want to be clear, this is not necessarily fancy, but it is definitely not bad. The staff were always very nice to me and those who were with me. There is a washing machine and a dryer on the first floor for patrons to use-it costs $2 to wash and $2 to dry, you do need quarters (staff always made change when I needed it), and they do keep the area clean. The location is just off the highway, but the area is a tad confusing to get to. The service was honestly very good until checkout when they thought we had taped something over a smoke detector in the room. We aren’t smokers and we didn’t do it. I was offended when the clerk tried to continue to push that they didn’t see it when the last person checked out. The swimming pool area is kept clean and maintained nicely. I’d absolutely suggest anyone on a budget, who just needs the basics, to stay here.

This is the last time I will ever book a hotel without reading the reviews first. Lesson learned. |I booked and paid in full for this gross hotel through Expedia. I checked in online the day before the trip. As part of the process, I gave my card information in lieu of a deposit. There was a small pending charge. This, in my experience, is standard. |However, when I went to check in, the clerk demanded $50 deposit. I let him know that I did online check in and my card was on file in case of incidentals.|He kept pointing to the sign and demanding $50. |I have NEVER in all my years of traveling |have I had a hotel do this. Occasionally at other hotels, there will be a hold of $20 that drops off. Not a demand of $50 for a fully paid for room before they give you a key. |They office was filthy and the weird demand for money made me extremely uneasy. |I told them that I wanted a refund and I did not feel comfortable staying there. He shrugged his shoulders, told me it was too late, and I should have bought the “trip guarantee” if I wanted a refund.|After hours of dealing with Expedia customer service, and Expedia and Super 8 pointing the finger at each other, I have a ruined trip and further emails and screenshots to have this resolved. ||DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BOOKING HERE, let alone staying here.

Nice clean room. Comfy bed. Lots of TV channels. Refrigerator and microwave...never knew how much I'd appreciate those until I had them! Super-easy parking up close. Small free breakfast available. This place is every good as the more expensive motels. I will definitely be back. Thanks guys !

This was my first hotel stay at Super 8, and I couldn't be happier! The hotel was gorgeous, and my room was perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size. Actually, my room was a lot bigger than most rooms at a similar price point. My room had everything, including an iron and full-size ironing board. Huge TV, huge mini-fridge, full-sized desk, and 2 nightstands (one one each side of the bed). The staff was courteous and the lobby / front desk was beautiful and inviting. I've already scheduled my next hotel stay at Super 8!

Moana is awesome!! She cares so much for the property her job! The people and the service is just phenomenal! The place is just for you to rest nothing fancy but they accommodate and treat you like no other. Give it a chance and see what I am talking about! Go and ask for Mianna she’s the new owner and she is just fantastic!

Mahi was great, very personable and great customer service. He’s a great face for the business and loves his job. Always has a smile on his face. The location is clean and cozy, the mini fridge is huge! The pool is outside and is one of the best hotel pools I have been too in years. There’s even lights hanging and decorations to ensure and help facilitate great vibes and an overall awesome stay here at the super 8 in Lenexa. ☺️

I would like to just say the staff here was so helpful to every accommodation and if I could give a shout out to one person it would be Rocky, he works at the front desk and does a fantastic job. I had a small concern with my room and he made sure I felt heard, understood and accommodated. Which is all anyone guest could want from a hotel stay. Rocky went out of his way to make sure myself and all guest at the hotel are getting the best service. And on top of that he was training a new employee which says a lot about character. I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone! My concerns were heard and taken care of immediately. Thanks to Rocky and the rest of the staff! Keep up the great work!
