Super 8 by Wyndham Lake George/Downtown - Hotel in Lake George - 2159 Canada St, USA

We all know Super 8 hotels are not are not the high end but gave it a 5 for a budget hotel. This hotel was inexpensive since all my wire and I needed a clean bed because son's family rented a house. Well driving up to this hotel lets just say I was pleasantly surprised how nice the place was both inside and outside. They had multiple fire pits and have items to to make smores. The owner at the front desks was so nice. Rooms are clean with nice chairs and table to sit outside in the evening before bed. I would recommend if you only need a nice room for your visit.

Very beautiful! The room is perfect for up to 6 people with 2 queen sized beds and a sofa bed. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The price was very good for the holiday weekend and the first night we roasted marshmallows at one of the fire pits. They even offer s'mores kits in the lobby for $1 each. The staff was very kind and helpful. My only complaint is that they don't really have a breakfast. I made sure to get us a hotel with breakfast included but their "breakfast" here is just an orange and a fig bar. They do have free coffee and orange juice as well. Everything was wonderful, they have a playground and multiple fire pits and grills. They pool was nice and clean and they have a ping pong table in the pool area as well. Overall, very happy with what I paid for the hotel and for the service we received.

We enjoyed our stay at Super 8. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and nice. We especially enjoyed the very comfortable bed and pillows. The pool was very clean and pleasant. The room prices were affordable. Can’t wait to go back.

The Super 8 Downtown was everything we needed for our 3 nights away in Lake George. It was a great value in comparison to other motels nearby. The room was neat and clean. The staff was professional, attentive, and kind. The location was convenient and made it easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit and things we wanted to do in the area. I highly recommend!

We took advantage of being in the Albany area to visit Lake George during the summer. We needed a budget hotel and were happy to get rooms at the Super 8 Lake George/Downtown. We had a very clean room on the backside of the motel, as it was up a hill, it was on the 1st floor which was excellent. You could park your car right in front of your room and no one ever took your space. The 1st day we were there, free popcorn with flavored toppings was provided by a young man with a lot of charm and charisma. We noticed that not only was there an outdoor pool, but pool towels were provided. There was a firepit, and an area where guests could grill and have a picnic. The location was great, near the village. On Friday we met the owner's son who was very accomodating, and on Saturday we met Vinnie the owner who couldn't be nicer and more helpful. It was a very positive experience and we would gladly stay there again when we didn't have the dog with us. The beds were comfortable, as were the pillows, and the shower was great. However, the bathroom was a little small, but clean. Another asset was having a balcony where you could look out and see the lake and the fireworks. A great find!

L’endroit est juste parfait, les lits super confortable, frigo dans la chambre . Très très propre . Hôtel très bien entretenue! WoW . Nous reviendrons c’est certain . 3 espaces de feu pour relaxer le soir . Nous avons adoré notre séjour de 4 nuits . Pas assez long malheureusement.

Staff were great, activities were great, play area and fire pits were great and pool was good.||||Unfortunately that is where it ends, room was really musty, mold, dirt, sheets were yellow and stained. All had really bad sleeps.because of the mustiness and had to keep all windows open throughout the night. Normally that is fine but because it is on main drag it is loud.||||Wont stay again.

Ce Super 8 se démarque nettement de la qualité habituelle de la chaîne. L'établissement de Lake George offre une ambiance particulièrement chaleureuse et accueillante. L'aménagement extérieur, avec ses foyers, ses terrasses, ses chaises et ses balançoires, crée une atmosphère intimiste et conviviale, rappelant presque un camping. La chambre était impeccable et spacieuse, avec un lit moelleux et une douche rénovée et d'une propreté irréprochable. Mon séjour a été plus que satisfaisant et m'a donné l'envie de revenir à Lake George.
