Super 8 by Wyndham La Marque TX/Texas City Area - Hotel in La Marque - 312 Delany Rd, USA

This is my first choice when I'm in town, of course when it's not sold out, which happens often, that alone speaks volumes! It's always clean, comfortable and welcoming. The price is just right and the staff always goes above and beyond my expectations. They offer a free grab and go breakfast of yogurt, fresh fruit small pastries and of course coffee and juice. Perfect for those that are always on the go! 🏃🚲🚙 Y'all keep up the good work and I'll keep booking my stays with you.

The front desk person was nice and did the best he could, despite the conditions. This place smelled like mold inside and out. The first room I walked into gave me an asthma attack within minutes and I don't have them often. The second room was a little better. If it hadn't been midnight by the time we arrived, I would have went anywhere else. The beds were uncomfortable and sheets stained. I doubt bedding was clean at all. I do not recommend this place at all. It was terrible.

The room was relatively clean. The tv remote did not work, but the front desk remedied that though there were a bunch of channels that just said "no signal". I prepaid for two nights, but only ended up staying one night. The room smelled very strongly of mold/mildew. There were cigarette burns on my comforter in my non-smoking room. There was wall and door damage from water (?) or a leaky AC which may have been the cause of the smell (see pics). After the first night I had a strong sore throat and couldn't breathe well. When I checked out a day early, no one asked how my stay was or commented on my leaving. When I got home it took two washes to get the mold smell out of my clothes and backpack. The location is pretty good - across the street is a nice Mexican restaurant and a bakery. But I kept waking up to noise in the parking lot so I worried a little about the safety of my vehicle (it was fine the next morning). I don't plan to stay here again, but if you need a bed and a shower and get a room that isn't smelly, it's close to Galveston and food, so there's that.

Please, make you a favour and don’t ever come to this place. This has being the worst experience that I have ever had in a motel. The humidity is absolutely unhealthy, beds and floors are wet because of it and you could tell just with the stinky smell of the entire place. We did had to change the room because the first one was literally coming down, the door, the smell, the alarm. Absolutely, unacceptable.

Found one dead cockroach in the room. Other than that the room was clean and smell good despite the smell of sewer outside the room. Outside the room around the office has a very strong smell of sewer which may made guest feel nausea if being exposed to the smell too long. Need to fix that smell if they want guests to come back.

The room was clean, but they raised the price to $150 because of a holiday weekend. The place was near empty. It's a $55 a night hotel. The breakfast was just an open sack of bread and some cereal and bananas. What a joke

Liliana and I love staying here. We have stayed here several times cruising out of Galveston. The owner and staff are always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Microfridge and microwave oven and morning breakfast. Very nice hotel at a reasonable price.

STELLAR STAY! This was not my first stay with this facility and it will not be my last!! CJ and the fellow staff at Super 8, were absolutely amazing! They showed concern, empathy and compassion. This stay was driven by Beryl and my lack of power and water but as mentioned, I’ll stay here again and will recommend this Super 8 Wyndham property to family and friends!
