Super 8 by Wyndham Kansas City - Hotel in Kansas City - 4321 N Corrington Ave, USA

Great option if you are wanting a clean, safe option to spend the night. Beds were comfortable, and staff were friendly. It is a super 8, and one of the more affordable options, so don’t expect a high end experience, but I would stay here again!

Rooms were clean, but nothing worked well, doors are hung out of square so they don't close right, water wouldn't shut off completely in the shower, toilet was rigged so it would only fill part way, so it clogged easily. The front desk person started picking up breakfast stuff 5 min early while people were still trying to get food. Pool was closed. No elevator.

We booked this location because it is close to the Worlds of Fun. The stay would have been perfect if their personnel are not rude. People at the front desk should be welcoming, specifically the two ladies with curly hair. They look so sad and respond with despondent tone to the guests. Worst hotel so far that i have stayed in. 0 stars for the service.

We stayed here two nights for our Worlds of Fun visit. There was a stink of paint in our room when we arrived, which was masked by the air conditioner when turned on. We probably should have asked for a different room, but we were out the entire day and only sleeping there, so it didn’t bother us much. While there was, thankfully, daily housekeeping, we did spot some things they missed. Generally we’d say the rooms were clean. Some other reviewers have mentioned that the area is unsafe, but we did not feel that way. It seemed as safe as any other off-the-highway strip of hotels, and if you are concerned about break-ins to your car, then don’t leave anything in it. As for the staff we encountered, while we would say they were surely, they were not particularly friendly either. ||Bottom line, the hotel is fine. While we would not go out of our way to stay here again, if the price is right, we would.

No in-room coffee maker despite it being advertised. Housekeeping needs improvement; room had not been vacuumed thoroughly. Bed was comfortable and price was lowest in the Worlds of Fun area. Quick walk to park, although part of walk is along busy road without sidewalks or a shoulder.

DO NOT STAY HERE. When I arrived for check in, I waited several minutes for someone to come to the desk to greet me. When that did not occur, I called the hotel's phone number to let them know I had arrived. The front desk clerk was rude on the phone, told me she was busy, and hung up on me. When she finally came to check me in, she was hostile and unprofessional. I asked her if we might start over, because clearly we had gotten off on the wrong foot and I never meant to come across as rude by merely asking to check into my hotel room, and she proceeded to try to scold me about not understanding how busy she was. Then, I was given the key to my room, which was allegedly non-smoking, but reeked of stale cigarette smoke and urine. I tried to stay because I did not want to interact anymore with the hateful staff, but the odor was overwhelming and I left in the middle of the night. There are several other chain hotels in the area. Try them instead.

Room was fine. Except for when we walked in it was hotter than heck. The t.v. was left on. And there was holes on the bed cover. The staff was great! Lady who checked us in was very polite and helpful. Breakfast wasn't really much a breakfast. Cereal or Toast. Pool wasn't available due to being broken. Maybe next time!

It was clean and it was an easy checkin process. The attendants were very polite and helpful and the location was perfect. The air blows super cold though so if you dont like to be cold be mindful of the settings.
