Super 8 by Wyndham Junction City - Hotel in Junction City - 1133 S Washington St, USA

Considering that the next option up cost about $200/night I can’t complain too bitterly. The rooms, while not actually being dirty, give off a subtle ambience of ‘not clean’ - think ‘dingy’ more than ‘grimy.’ Tip the chambermaids generously though! They’re doing the best they can with what they’ve got. Breakfast - did you ever see “Repo Man?” I don’t recall if there’s a motel breakfast scene in that movie, but if there was they filmed it here. Mind you, we went into this with our eyes open - we stayed here about a year ago and it was just like this last time. If you’re traveling on a tight budget you pretty much got to choose between paying through the nose for ‘normal’ or paying $70-something to spend the night in a crime scene the night before the crime happened. PS you know the saying ‘smiles are free?’ Not here

This is a very nice motel for the cost. It's older but they keep it in good condition it's always clean. Best value I have found for a motel. My sister turned me on to this place and had a lot of good things to say about it and I agree with her it is a very good value I stayed in higher dollar motels with less value and I recommend this place if you were traveling and you need a place to sleep for the night. There is subway and McDonald's right with this motel. Both have good service.

Good for an overnight stop. Mattress was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Microfridge present. AC sufficiently cooled the room on a very hot night. WiFi was a good speed.||Room was clearly dated and could have benefitted from updates and repairs, particularly with peeling paint and bathroom fixtures. Hot water also took a minute to run (at 9am) and never got super hot. But none of this detracted from an overall good stop, especially for the low price.

I am giving this 5⭐️ for price in comparison to value. This hotel was a surprise to me. It was super cheep, however my room was surprisingly clean, the staff was friendly, and there was even a lightly stacked continental breakfast. I have paid twice as much for a room that has no breakfast service. There was not a huge selection but any body that expects Belgian waffles for 40$ a night is ungrateful. I definitely think any of the bad ratings that I have seen for this hotel are unfair. You get much more than you pay for here.

Booked this room months before. We even called twice to confirm we had a handicap accessible room. It was in NO WAY handicap accessible. Despite the lack of room for a wheelchair to move around, the deal breaker was the bathroom. There was nothing about the shower that made it accessible, but the worst part was the grab bars that were supposed to be for the toilet. One directly behind the toilet which is no help if you are sitting & the one on the side wall was 3 feet away. My Mother-In-law could not even get off the toilet. Went to the front desk to advise this was not handicap accessible per ADA & they didnt seem to care at all. They gave my mother-in-law her money back but the only other hotel available that weekend (KSU Graduation weekend) was back in Manhattan for $450. We had to take her to Manhattan because she could NOT stay in the Super 8 hotel. We had to stay back at the Super 8 for the night because we werent spending $450 for a room at 9pm. The website is misleading & also the staff when I called. When asked if handicap accessible the answer should have been NO per ADA. Alos, there was a Garden hose just blocking the sidewalk. Its hard enough having to travel when you have to rely on a wheelchair, but come on people. Do better!||We have no issue in staying at a cheap hotel (this was double what it normally is because of Graduation weekend) but this one was so run down; outlet next to the sink didnt work, luke-warm water in the shower, mold, mold, mold. Breakfast was a few hardboiled eggs, gravy & bagels. No fruit, no yogurt, no biscuits. ||Just be warned. I dont expect much for the price but this is the worst one I have ever stayed at.

Looks like a hood hotel. My room needed a major update. Looked like dried blood stains on the coutertop in the sink area. Shower needs to be updated and caulked properly. The toilet paper holder was far away from the toilet. Microwave looked as though it was dropped on the floor, dinged badly and put backon the table.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The only reason I stayed there was due to being exhausted from driving and needed a few hours of sleep. The guy at the front desk was not friendly and the room was way too expensive for how the room actually looked. If I were you I would say no to this place.

This is the worst hotel ever. There were bugs ALL over the bathroom the door had so much hair on it like I don’t even think they tried cleaning the bathroom because it was so dirty. The bed that I was sleeping in had like a dent in it and I could NOT sleep of how uncomfortable it was. The main door to enter your room had like an open space at the bottom of it so anything could get in. We also asked for a som ice and they didn’t give me ice like…but over all not a good place you can FOR SURE find a better place to stay in not this one!
