Super 8 by Wyndham Grand Rapids/Wyoming - Hotel in Wyoming - 727 44th St SW, USA

I ignored the previous reviews, thinking that maybe management had corrected the cleanliness issue by now. Big mistake. All of the previous reviews are not over estimating how dirty these rooms are. The lobby smelled of rotting meat, the walls of the room were filthy, along with the comforters on the beds. The sheets were dirty and stained. The atmosphere gave off the "pay by the hour" vibe and is just a few blocks away from the "Wyoming Justice Center." We were in Grand Rapids for appointments at the Children's hospital. Definitely not where you want to go if you have kids with you as it gives a very unsafe feel for the family. We didn't even stay 5 minutes and left. The girl at the desk was not surprised that we left and was kind enough to refund us right away.

This is the worst of the worst, buying and selling in the broken down, wrecked car in the back parking lot. Mold on the corner of the bathroom ceiling, stains on the comforter, cigarette burning on the door cover, pillows old and smell stale, like sweat, shower and tub haven’t been cleaned, toilet seat hanging on for dear life. Crud and dirt built up behind the bathroom door and ever since I took the chance and sat on the bed to keep my feet off the floor, my skin is itching. Thank God planet fitness opens at 7am, at least I can feel safe taking a shower and using the facilities. Gotta love the Black card membership !!!! Super 8 👎. Horrible is even a kind word!!! If you are a woman traveling alone, do not stay here it is not a safe place or a safe feelings. Even with male coworker close by, not worth my safety. I’ll be sleeping in my car!!!!

I stayed here because my daughter had a State cheerleading competition close by. The room wasn't clean, but when I made a complaint, it was taken care of. It was rather filthy in general and there was no breakfast included as advertised. It was good for one night and served the purpose.

I was in town for a funeral and didn't have another quick option or I would have left immediately. Sheets and towels were stained, hair on the bathroom floor, needed to be vacuumed, air didn't cool the room, door didn't lock, NO BREAKFAST, rude staff. Don't expect a hair dryer or coffee pot in your toom. They don't exist. The bed was a rock. The whole experience was awful.

I am surprised this is a Wyndham hotel. First of all they have FALSE advertising. No breakfast, we went to McDonald's and no premium channels on the TV. When we arrived we saw all these strange people hanging out in the handicap parking. It looked like it was a home for the homeless. No handicap assistance except for parking. I booked this room a month in advance and told them that my husband cannot take stairs. When we arrived they gave us a room on the 3rd floor and no elevator. I told them he could not do it and was told they have nothing on the first floor. However, they did find one with 2 double beds and had to be unlocked by them with a key. Above us we heard walking back and forth all evening, into the night and early in the morning . I have been to a Super 8 before and none so bad as this one.

Positive: "" Negative: There was dirty dishes left in the drawers. The rooms were filthy. No clean towels, said they would bring them up but never did. Booked the room online but was given the wrong room. Employee said she would fix that but was billed incorrectly. Unsafe.

This place is so unclean. The room smelled like urine. The AC is so gross. It looks like a rat got caught in there. I bet the employees don't even work. Would not recommend.

Positive: The front desk man was really nice and understanding Negative: Base on only photos it looks nice.But photos must be from when they first open. Hotel is run down smell bad!! I checked in and checked out in 10 minutes. Sheets was dirty ripped and had stained. Room smell like smoke. People just hanging outside.
