Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Worth South - Hotel in Fort Worth - 6500 South Fwy, USA

I booked online and when I got there they tried to charge me a different amount and said that room was not available even though I had a confirmation. Then they tried to charge me an additional $50 and said I would get it back at checkout, which was not mentioned online only a sign on the counter. I refused and said cancel my room so they honored price and didn’t charge add $50. The building had an odor and it seemed like they tried to mask it. The TV did not work and the room at all and the room had not been cleaned. The bedding was changed but the floors and the tables had not been wiped in some time. The breakfast was just some packaged items with cereal and milk. Will not be returning unfortunately.

The hotel is definitely in a somewhat secluded area off the side road. The pool doesn't work and we didn't have hot water The first two days of our stay. We have 3 kids and they only have one kid channel. The staff just seemed annoyed we were even at the hotel. The only one who made us feel welcome is the lady who works overnight. Breakfast is basically non existent.

They don't want to change the name of my reservation or accept my husband's ID to check in . I just had a C-section & am in hospital. They don't want to write a free of charge email for me to mail to third party and they will do a courtesy one time free of charge cancellation. I speak to person in hotel and he says he can't do it and he says no supervisor on site to help me . Until 10 am there's a supervisor on site .

They didn't come in and take out trash and put more tp in restroom. Ask for an extra pillow cause the pillows sucked they were flat but there were none to be had. Said they were queen bed and they were not The TV would turn off after 2 hrs no matter what u did. And you would have to find your channel all over again every time. And breakfast what breakfast it was a joke. 3 or 4 yogurt 2 kinds cereal beauty half gallon milk and nasty nasty coffee and no sink to dump it out in. Ac was great. blankets were big enough to cover 2 people. We paid $85 a night we should have gone some were else.

Rooms are extremely dated and you can see maintenance is non-existing. Bathroom tub was full of stains and peeled, chairs were broken and fixed with duct tape. This is not worth the $100 a night they ask for, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Positive: Clean room. Air conditioning Negative: The pool was ?permanently closed? as per the desk man. The breakfast was cereal and yogurt, with some pre-wrapped donuts. Breakfast ended at 9 so the cleaning crew could use it for a break room. The workout room did not exist. It is the office now.

I enjoyed my stay there. For the dollar value it was great. The only problem was the intense smell of cigarettes when certain guests were in the hotel. The walls are very thin and we got treated to several nights of dinner and a show x rated. I would not rely on breakfast either. But like I said for the dollar value, it was good. No elevator. I would stay there again as long as I was on the first floor.

It was the dirty sheets with hair all over that sent me throught the roof with disgust. And then everything stunk of smoke! Yuck. Will not be back ever again.
