Super 8 by Wyndham Durango - Featured Reviews (624)
Our travel plans changed at the last minute, so we made reservations at the super eight in Durango. The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. There was no noise we could hear coming from inside the hotel. Unfortunately, we were on the side of the hotel that faced the main road through town. Having the air conditioner on or white noise from the cell phone took care of most of the noise. The only other thing was a chlorine smell from the bathroom. But if that’s what it takes to get it looking so good it’s worth it. We would stay here again.
There were multiple items offered at the free breakfast: pancakes, bagels, eggs, sausage, cold cereal, fruit, and yogurt.
I will admit Super 8 would be my last choice but not this one. The reviews are right on. It was why I chose to stay here and it was the best decision. Check in very easy. We have 2 service dogs and they were very accommodating. Rooms were huge and clean. Beds were comfortable and got the best night of sleep on this trip. We had a room facing highway didn't hear it. Breakfast needs improvement. All frozen food cooked in a microwave not a fan of. I have never seen frozen cooked eggs. Coffee juice cereal and muffins. I would definitely stay here again. They guy that took my reservation over the phone at the hotel was awesome and sweet. Found me the best price he could. Don't hesitate to stay here...it was one of the best Super 8 I have been to.
Rooms nice size, at least 2 Queen room was and beds comfortable...GM made sure to take care of AC unit not working well. Would have left otherwise. Breakfast OK and a little something for everyone..... Bath room and sink area very small but we made it work for an entire week.... Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again.
Stay for a week was good. Beds were comfortable. Bath room very small and main complaint but its doable, even for a week. GM made sure to take care of AC unit not performing well. I would stay again.
Positive: Cold AC; hot, strong shower; spacious sized room; powerful hair dryer; comfortable bed. GREAT staff!!! I stayed a second (unplanned) night and will ALWAYS go to Super 8 in Durango! Negative: The desk chair could have been more comfortable, but at least there was one, with a generous-sized double tier workspace, with free wi-fi that worked as it should..
My son called it the best Super 8 he's ever stayed in. It was clean and adequate, the room appeared fairly new, and overall a good value in a pricey town. We stayed 3 nights; our room was not cleaned (trash not emptied nor beds made) after the first night, but the maids did appear to have been in after our second night. Front desk staff were nice. Make sure to ask for a back door key if that's more convenient to your room; it's separate from the room key. We stayed another night a few days later on our way back through Durango. I would definitely stay here again.
excellent stay. so glad they had an opening as we were booked else where and it was terrible. Breakfast biscuits were wonderful. Coffee was great. We will stay at more Super 8's in the future.
This is one of the BEST Super 8’s we have been to. Clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff, quiet—all you could ask for. We stayed 3 nights, extended to 1 more night. Completely satisfied! Super 8’s often get a bad rap, but we had no complaints.
This location was perfect, clean and well stocked. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious thank you Brenda, We loved all the breakfast options. I must say we travel a lot and this is the first time I slept in any hote
