Super 8 by Wyndham Decatur/Dntn/Atlanta Area - Hotel in Decatur - 917 Church St, USA

I got exactly what I wanted out of my two-night stay. The room was scrupulously clean, the service was polite, the amount I was charged at check-out was exactly the same price I had been quoted on reservation, it had all the necessary little things like plenty of outlets and working minifridge and microwave. Shower was hot and had good water pressure, A/C was cold, parking was free. Continental breakfast was nothing special but it was free and made me no longer hungry. Certainly the establishment has seen better days, the paint was dingy and the A/C rattled and there was a broken shelf in the bathroom: but none of those are worth knocking off a star imo as they did not substantively affect my experience. I will note that the mattress and pillows were very firm, which is not my personal preference but my preferences aren't universal. I would bring my own pillow next time, but I would happily stay here again next time I am seeing a concert at a venue in Atlanta.

Absolutely not! I JUST CALLED FOR INFORMATION AND ALREADY RECEIVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE PHONE!! All I did was call to ask a question about my reservation and for one the guy did not properly put me on hold. I heard all conversations that was had with the guest including room numbers. Secondly I asked if he saw my reservation reflected for my dates in September and he said that I need to call back in the afternoon to ask someone else and I asked him why when I’m calling now. He was finally able to see my dates reflected for September. The icing on the cake was when I asked the guy is this location near Pullman yards so that I could ensure that I’m close to the location and he said idk you can use Google and I told him I used Google but I was unable to tell if the location I need was near by and he said he doesn’t know he’s not familiar with the area and I can call back all I want and he still won’t know! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE how do you work at a hotel and don’t know your surroundings. I work to hard for my money to stay at a place where I can’t get a question answered. I canceled my booking immediately!

When we got in our room, there is what appears to be boogers smeared all over the wall 🤮. The beds are hard as rocks and room smells funky. also you will get high just walking to your room from the smell of weed being so so bad. Edit: they moved us to a much much cleaner room. It still smelled a little old and the ac was terribly dusty. Probably will not stay here again either way. The front office lady was super nice about everything so I do appreciate that.

Don't let the other reviews fool you, this place was fabulous and very affordable compared to other hotels within a 10 minute range. We wanted to be close to Agnes Scott for the graduation and 4 minutes away was pretty darn great. But let me tell you about the hotel - service was excellent our room we got the two queen suite and it has a little sitting room with a fold-out couch and a desk mini refrigerator and microwave and coffee pot and then the next room is a huge sink and counter space and behind that is a separate toilet and bathtub with shower over. Then the bedroom is two queen beds a closet with an ironing board and iron chest of drawers. Did I mention there was a TV in the bedroom and one in the front sitting room. The towels were soft and cozy when you got out of the shower and the shower head was full force and felt amazing. I could wash my hair and actually get the soap out. The view from our bedroom was lush and green and just a nice way to walk into the room. The breakfast is a little light but the coffee they serve in the eating area is really good, far better than the coffee you can make in your room with your little tiny itsy bitsy krups machine. The bed was comfortable they offer you three pillows there's AC that you can adjust and keep the room at a temperature that is enjoyable. I was very happy and sometimes I'm not always easy to please. 😁

The price is not very expensive. The experience is good,comfortable . The check in and out very quickly. The lady is very warm hearted. I need to print out my airline ticket.she is very nice and friendly and patient help me to print the ticket.

Great location — horrible smelling rooms. Smelled like a mix of smoke and body odor. All my clothes smelled like the place.

Myself and another employee stayed here for 2 weeks (spending thousands of dollars) and they put a lady and her kids above me and the whole time the kids ran back and fourth. I went to the front desk and expressed my concerns. Bottom line was they had my $ and didn't care. I said i was ok with them keeping my $ for the time I've stayed but the next 3 days i paid for in advance I'd like to have that refunded since they are not able to control thier hotel. They refused to refund me or address the issue. There are many other hotels close by that no doubt have a better customer service. Unfortunately with these owners its only about the $. I highly recommend you not stay at this Super8 if you want a good nights rest. I'm only giving 1 star for service because I have too.

This is an old facility but kept up nicely. It is clean and comfortable. I felt comfortable staying here even with the door to the outside. Had a breakfast option. Nice to have a refrigerator in room. I would definitely stay here again
