Super 8 by Wyndham Danville VA - Hotel in Danville - 2385 Riverside Dr, USA

Person behind the desk appeared to not know what she was doing, took 25 minutes to check us in. Requested 1st floor but none available, got 2nd floor room and then was told the elevator was broken. Walking from bathroom to bed, the bottom of my feet turn black. Don't think the floor was ever washed. Breakfast choices consisted of coffee, tea, milk, and a dispenser that contained Raisin Bran cereal. That was it. The price was a few dollars cheaper than nearby hotels but it was not worth it. Better to spend a few more dollars for a better hotel.

They say they have good hiker rates but They tried to up charge me when I went in their to 71 $ Then I reserved a room at the one in roanoak They charge a 100$ cash only deposit. I cleaned the room. Left the room. The women said their was weed and I don't smoke weed after searching the garbage. Litteraly pulled the garbage out searching for anything. Says I have to charge you a cleaning fee of 50$ for tobacco she pulled out the trash. Then the cop comes who's actually the clerk at the other super8s cousins best friend or something like that and says it's a civil matter all to rob ppl who don't spend as much money when and where they want. Theirs way more but that's the hotel experience.

good rate on studio room and for weekend stay. Staff friendly and very helpful. Elevator was out of order and snack machine was broken. For a quick bite burger king across the way and many other fast food restaurants in area. Western Sizzler with in a few miles but very busy on weekends. Good beef steaks and buffet. Close to Casino we had lots of fun bringing in the New Year 2023

Positive: Nothing! We had a very bad experience. When I approached the staff with our concerns I was blown off saying they couldn¿t help with anything cause the computer was frozen Negative: We had cockroaches in our bathroom by the bunches. We did not feel comfortable at all and we ended up leaving early because it was disgusting. We could not use the shower because of how many roaches were on the towels and toilet paper and tub surround. Negative: ""

Broken elevator, broken bathroom light, A/C set to 64, horrible breakfast, bad wi-fi. $199 last night.Never again!

Decent enough hotel, exactly what you'd hope for the price. Had an issue and had to have my employee leave early, assistant manager refused to cancel the room. I'm a Wyndham Diamond member, so I do expect to be treated decently, and when we have to check an employee out early we always do so before 8am so they have time to clean the room and make it available to someone who needs it. We consider this a courtesy, similar to leaving a good tip. That being said, in the handful of times we've had to do this, never have we been told we can't check out early, and billed for the whole week. When I called about it, she refused to help me with the situation. When I asked to be placed in contact with the General Manager, she hung up on me. Upon trying to call back several times, my call was not answered. I don't like being told I have to pay for something I've traditionally not been charged for before. And I have always been impressed at the level of customer service at Wyndham Hotels in general. They're not 5 star hotels, but they treat you well and are typically clean. I will not however be disrespected and go away quietly, not in my character. I can only hope that someone there reads this and uses the feedback in a way that makes a difference for future customers. Unfortunately that won't ever be me again, but if they can get better then at least someone else will benefit. I can live with that.

We put a complaint in via email to the manager Cindy, 2 days ago and still no response. Contacted corporate and they are assisting. Cockroaches in the entrance, ants on our room floor. Moldy, musky damp smelling room. Crumbs and stains in the bed. I am a Wyndham rewards member and never in my life saw anything this infested unhealthy of a building. We couldn't even get another hotel since after meetings we got to our room at 1:30 am. My wife slept on top of the bed fully dressed with all her clothing tucked in. The Danville Health department needs to quarantine this place.

Excellent customer service, great housekeeping and well maintained. Burger King beside hotel made it even better. Thank you all staff.
