Super 8 by Wyndham Dalton - Featured Reviews (425)
Checking in at 8pm. Went to dinner. Came back at 930. My husband went to the bathroom and came back out to watch TV. I heard water running. He looked down and there was a river in the room! Thankfully we were quick getting bags off the floor. This was 9:45. We call front desk. She brings a mop for us to mop it up. We said no. Asked for a refund or room change and she immediately said no. we didn't even have the room 2 hours.
This Super 8 is wonderful. Rooms were clean. Easy in to your room and out. Much better than expected. Pet fee is low compared to other motels. $15.00.
Great location! However, upon arrival, the lady at the front desk must have been training the fella trying to do his job. Instead of helping and showing him, she sat there and yelled at him, talked down, and made him look stupid in front of all of us. Instead of stepping in and showing him the correct way, she stood there and humiliated him while she watched me wrangle my 2 year old who had just been in the car 9 hours. This went on with this poor guy FIFTEEN MINUTES MIND YOU, i had already booked i just needed my key! After that, the WiFi didn’t work in the room. And then the tv went out completely 3 times and nobody could fix it. The telephone was broken so no one could call in or out. Going to bed, i was turning out lights, and one next to the 2nd bed wouldn’t turn off by switch (it was stuck) and i had to twist the light bulb off. When getting in the shower, there was long black strands of hair wrapped in my towels. Hard food particles, even lettuce. These were all on the ones hanging and folded in the bathroom. Upon getting in bed, i was bit twice on my arm by something. All in all, horrible experience. My mother and father in a seperate room, were made keys to another couples room and they walked in on them! Let’s also add the dark black feet from just walking to bed to bathroom. Spend the extra $30 for a nicer hotel, trust me.
The Dalton GA Super 8, for one night on an urgency, and to be totally honest, the room was almost a La Quinta, .. almost. The area was v clean and all the essential accoutrements were present; albeit without the fancy soaps or magical lotions present at LQ. The motel was alright as staff were very kind. Breakfast though was barren; with plenty of coffee to make up for the lack of edibles :) Rooms, bed were clean; and the TV worked. Didn't see any cigarette burns or mold so Super. Know that there no Workout area; and the pool was closed :/ No sweeping views of anything; but I could see a RaceTrac out the window. The pricing was most affordable. Get on the Wyndham app and rack up the points & free nights.
I stayed here for 4 nights at this location for a business trip. The problems that I had there were mainly the cleanness of the room. 1. Holes in the bed sheets and blanket. 2. dirty floors. Whole time I was there. 3. Cockroaches were seen in my room.
Super 8 is generally a reliable hotel. Unfortunately that was not our experience here. Floors were not clean in the room. No coffee or juice left at breakfast even though we got there with lots of time before closing. At least 15 people came for breakfast after us. The staff tried to help but were brand new to the job.
Positive: Location Negative: Live roaches in room 155. Several dead palmetto bugs. Room was not clean. Lots of build up in corners and perimeter of room.
Positive: Location. Negative: Anyway to black out the top of the blinds that face the celing? Black out blinds are great but very bright light comes in through the top.
Rooms are beautifully kept, clean, great service. We loved seeing all the pets, even though we didnt travel with our own. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you for everything
Wonderful small brewery tucked away in downtown Dalton. They offer flights of FIVE beers rather than the typical four, so we had a chance to sample most of their offerings, which is surprisingly large selection. We found them all quite tasty, but esp
Coffee shop in a church, which isn't a thing for me but may be a problem for you. Yes, you can be a heathen and get your coffee here and even use the internet for an hour or two. On a weekday morning, it was quiet and I had no trouble finding parking
I came in for an earl grey tea latte and some baked goods. The drink and food were excellent. I was also impressed with the service. The woman who runs this cafe is warm-hearted and kind. I would definitely go back here for another visit.
I am so happy that I found this Turkish restaurant in Dalton . I have lived in Turkey for 10 years . When I go to this restaurant all memories came to my mind ( baklava , Turkish music, kebab ⦠) . The food is amazing . We ordered hummus and chicke
My family of 4 went here around 5:30 on a Sunday evening. We were immediately seated. The waitress and, I assume, the owner were very friendly and attentive. The dining area and restroom seemed clean. Some plates were brought to us by the waitress,
Went MTB, as 1st timer. Took two kids. Stayed off the extreme trails, but the rest were well-maintained and easy to navigate. Maps were clear and trails marked. Loved it!
Me, my husband, and my son couldn't be thankful enough to have found this place! We drive OTR and trying to make it home in time for thanksgiving with the family. We weren't showing to get home till about 10 tonight so we figured we might as well fi
Stopped in to try for the first time. Early dinner on a weekday. No wait for a table. Lots to choose from. I ordered the fried shrimp, my wife ordered the shrimp po boy. Both came out relatively quickly and were fresh and hot. No issues, will return
