Super 8 by Wyndham Crestview - Hotel in Crestview - 3925 S Ferdon Blvd, USA

The Super 8 in Crestview, Florida, offers basic accommodations at an affordable price. The rooms are clean but dated, and I did see a few stains on the curtains. The helpful staff was fantastic! The location is convenient, just off the highway. Overall, it's decent for a budget stay.

Advertised as "Newly Remodeled" but that's not the case. Rocky, at the front desk was very respectful and made a true effort at helping. The unfortunate issue is with the property maintenance and houskeeping. The rooms were not clean and they smelled of cigarrette and mold. There was visible mold in one of the bathroom ceilings. On the other room the fridge door was terribly rusted and what seriously looked and smelled like a pet urine stain on the floor. Even when Rocky made the attempt to move us to different rooms, these were also unclean and smelled moldy. We canceled the reservation with the booking service immediately and went elsewhere for our stay. Definitely not what we expected after a 6 hour drive.

I cannot express enough to STAY AWAY from this place!!! After a long exhausting day of flying and a funeral we had to turn around and head back to catch our flight the next morning. We figured this place would suit our needs of just a few hours of sleep, not asking for anything fancy! We checked in and were given a room upstairs, upon opening the door, the cigarette smoke smacked us in the face! It was TERRIBLE! No one should be subjected to the smell that we experienced! It is July in Florida and the room was HOTTER than it was outside. The air DID NOT TURN ON! I walked into the bathroom to find what I assume was blood, maybe red paint, I decided at that moment that we weren't staying to find out! I walked downstairs and asked for a refund!!!! I was told that only the manager could do that! So I stood there with my husband while the lady working contacted the manager. Who said they would refund me, I saw the text!!!! Almost a month and many many phone calls later, no refund!!! No manager to speak with... Every excuse in the book as to why I cant speak to someone who can refund my money! Not only will they try to put you in an unsanitary room but they will STEAL your money in the process!!!!

No. Go across the street if possible. I Had a pet they put us upstairs. In the middle of the walk through. You pay for early check in, no breakfast The website does advertise breakfast. Had trouble with pet fee at check in Had to pay it and they wouldn't use the Wyndham card I booked with. Petroom was an obvious old smoking room. Beds were cleanly dressed though. Out door sitting and pet area available.

So disappointed I won't stay at a Super 8 again. I booked my reservation through Orbitz and it stated there was free breakfast and there wasn't. There wasn't coffee available in the room. So, upon arriving and finding this out the hotel wasn't meeting my expectations. And then I made it to the room. A silent ninja of cigarette smoke attacked as soon as I opened the door. I flipped on the light switch--no light. I walked over to the lamp on the table between the beds--no light bulb. I walked over to the standing lamp next to the TV and turned on the light, which revealed a large puddle of water (I hope) in front of the sink on the floor. I went to grab a towel from the bathroom and noticed that one of the arms of the toilet paper dispenser was missing, so no functioning TP dispenser. The room AC didn't pull any humidity from the room so it was cold and damp, and the cigarette smoke hung like a wet blanket. I was so tired from a day of travel that I didn't inquire to switch rooms. There were lots of guests milling around outside, hanging out, which made me get the sense that this motel has weekly rates. I had a moving truck and felt that my contents were vulnerable (whether or not they were in reality). I was able to move the truck to a place where I could back against a wall. The water coming out of the tub spout had great water pressure--which was very different from the shower head. I thought my olfactory senses would adjust to the smell of smoke but I never did. The sheets in the bed I slept in smelled clean, but the top cover smelled like smoke. I turned the pillow over so that my head was on the underside, which wasn't exposed to the air in the room. I'm glad I was by myself because my wife wouldn't have allowed us to stay there and would have said to forget the cost of the room. She wouldn't have felt safe and would have been repulsed by the room. The experience has been seared in my mind and I will never stay at a Super 8 again.

The place was terrible, blood on the toilet paper, lock on the door was broken, cigarette burns on both bed covers,rust on the refrigerator, no Kleenex, no coffee maker, no cups, no ice bucket no extra toilet paper. Rude staff. I will never stay there again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone! They should pay people to stay there! Worst place that I have ever stayed. Was supposed to have a king size bed but they said that the tv wasn't working so got a double bed for the same price! Outrageous

If there was an option to give zero stars, I definitely would! The hotel was absolutely disgusting. There was blood on the curtains and black stuff which I’m assuming was mildew or mold on the ceiling. The room reeked of mildew we ended up staying into another hotel. The owner promised to give a refund and they only gave a partial refund.

Stay away from this place! The staff and nonexistent Ghost manager are horrible. The only reason why we booked a room here was for the advertised continental breakfast and location. When we got there, we found out there was no continental breakfast offered. The ice machine was out of order, there were barely enough towels available and when we asked for more to accommodate our family of four, they wanted us to turn in used towels first. Room service never showed either. Unfortunately, halfway during the stay we had to leave due to a family emergency. The staff, told us they could accommodate for at least a one day refund, which was better than nothing. The following days working with booking.com and this motel were absurd. I was lied to multiple times by staff. There is a so-called manager that is never on the property and you can only reach this individual by email. They agreed verbally to a refund just to get us off the phone. Overall, it’s not the fact that they won’t issue a refund, it’s the fact that they couldn’t just come out and say sorry no refunds, but instead wasted three days of my time going back-and-forth with the booking agent. Overall worst lodging experience ever! Stay away from this place!
