Super 8 by Wyndham Covington - Hotel in Covington - 10130 Alcovy Rd, USA

The hotel was comfortable. Looks like it has recently been renovated. A little more work could be done to the restroom in my opinion. Overall pleased with our stay. Conveniently located with lots of food options near by.|The front desk agent that worked the evening we checked in Friday was amazing.

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, lobby beautiful and smelled freshly cleaned at 7pm. The front counter person Shawn was personable, kind, helpful, patient and went above and beyond to check us in and make sure we had a great start to our stay. Overall the only thing lacking were the choices for the provided breakfast(unless oatmeal and cereal are your go to). Internet was blazing fast and parking well lit, clean and abundant. Very nice place to stay!

Well me and my family took a small vacation and when we got into our room the bathroom smelled so bad like weed. So we called the staff and they gave us another room and we got into our other room and we checked out our beds and the sheets were not changed at all there was a snot tissue on the bed which is very disgusting. There was stains on the sheets. We only stayed here because it was only 6 minutes from the vampire diaries tour. I never do reviews or anything like this but we had drove 6 hours just to get to a hotel and have a nice small vacation. We also checked to make sure there was no bedbugs in our beds and there was not. I had to take off the bedsheets and use my blankets just to sleep on my bed because it was so disgusting. I never complain about anything at all like this but this was just outrageous and everything. I do not blame the lady at the front desk because this was not her fault at all but the place was disgusting. I would not stay here if I was you!!!

What a surprise this hotel was. Large clean room. Ample parking. Friendly employees. I wanted to use my Wyndham Rewards Points and most of the budget motels on the list are rated rather poorly. But I saw this one had a good rating so I decided to give them a chance. Glad I did. This one is equal to places in higher categories. I would definitely stay again. My only con was the breakfast. I realize everything was prepackaged but it would be nice if they added HB eggs and a cereal that was not sugar coated. They have good coffee.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this super 8 for 5 days. It was very inexpensive and in a great location for us. There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. The room was clean, the blankets were outdated and had a hole in them. We bring our own blankets and pillows so it was no big deal. There also was a mildew smell throughout the room. The only big negative about staying here is that you can rent a room with cash, which makes it seem that the hotel premise is less secure. The door closed all the way but you could see a crack which critters could come in. Also, there were a couple of individuals talking on the phone right outside of my room one night. I had to ask them to move areas as we can hear them clearly. There weren’t any other issues besides that. So if you are looking for an average place to sleep for the night, this is it! Very affordable but you get what you pay for.

Front desk was rude and not willing to help. The sheets were dirty and when asked to change them I was told housekeeping was busy and if they couldn't come soon she would come tomorrow. I demanded that she come immediately, when she got to the room I had to passionately convince her to look at the covers and bathtub. I was so disappointed by the service and was hopeful that rooms would be as clean as the lobby. I wouldn't recommend this place. She did bring clean sheets that we put on the beds ourselves. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

What a surprise. Most hotels in this chain are mediocre but we had points to use and the ratings were good so we took a chance. Very clean. Large rooms. Friendly staff. A nice a any mid level hotel. Breakfast was just OK. Needed some protein and some cereals without sugar coating. Everything prepackaged. But would definitely stay here again. About half a mile from I-20.

Had a late check in but called ahead to let know when we checked in the front desk lady was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and even though air was off took no time to coll down! Had a blast
