Super 8 by Wyndham Cos/Hwy. 24 E/PAFB Area - Hotel in Colorado Springs - 605 Peterson Rd, USA

Was put up at the Super 8 on TDY orders at Peterson AFB. Rooms were clean and somewhat decent, but there was a weird smell like marijuana or something. Being in the military one cannot be around marijuana it is a no-no and smelling of it can jack up one's career. Went to my Commander and told him of the situation and didn't know what became of the complaint afterwards. Hope this place keeps pot smokers out of the building if they want military folks there. With that said. Check in was easy, parking was abundant, and the location to most things like a convenience store, and a Domino's is great.

Desk person was nice, but the place is a split level...not handicap friendly AT ALL. One of my party has high difficulty with stairs....was not good, no way to avoid having to do steps...even to "ground floor". Rooms are dirty and in disrepair. This is truly the WORST SUPER 8 I have EVER been in.

I would sooner sleep outside on the sidewalk than stay at this hotel again. About an hour into our stay I found a bed bug in my bed. Notified the front desk who refused to move me to a different room or give me any sort of refund/discount. Eventually he offered to call one of the people who had a reservation for that night who hadn't shown up yet and gave us a key to that room when the person was unresponsive. We moved all of our things into the other room just to find out the AC didn't work. Keep in mind this was during a heatwave and it was easily 90 degrees outside so the room was unbearably hot. We decided to move back to our original room despite the bed bugs in the hopes that we could still get some sleep. The next day I woke up with massive bites on my face and arms from the bed bugs. They also charged me $40 extra than was listed on expedia. This was easily the worst stay I've ever had and I've stayed at a lot of cheap/rundown hotels.

Managers were professional, efficient yet kind. Rooms were clean. Bathtub faucet was dripping, we tried to fix it. Breakfast was exceptional for what we paid

Disgusting. I walked out and didn’t even stay. As I was in the lobby starting to check in, my husband called and said there were people in the parking lot dealing drugs and a woman CLEARLY was a prostitute!! You can tell from the lobby this place is sketchy-from the signs and warnings on the walls to how gross. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name attached. Stay far from this hotel!!!

Positive: Nothing it was the most horrible hotel I've ever stayed at Negative: It was dirty and run down and horrible neighborhood I was worried all night long if my bike was going to be fine in the morning

Great staff and clean room but rude customers that stay in lobby talking loudly till 3 am and when we asked if they could quiet down was cussed at. Not a great place for peace or rest.

Very nice clean rooms. Only issue I had was no coffee pot in the room and internet with spotty. Great staff.
