Super 8 by Wyndham Colorado Springs Airport - Hotel in Colorado Springs - 1790 Aeroplaza Dr, USA

There's a reason this hotel is significantly cheaper than all the surrounding hotels. They apparently have a severe shortage of everything you would usually find in a hotel: Towels, wash cloths, TVs, room phones, refrigerators, coffee makers, breakfast in the morning. The carpets are stained and filthy. The place has a heavy chemical cleaner smell throughout. The curtains are torn (some duct taped back together) and filthy and do not close all the way. The WiFi is dial-up standard speed. Couldn't even download text email on my phone. My laptop would connect, but would never load anything due to the slow speed. Several light fixtures did not have bulbs. Toilet seat appeared to have mold on it, but it was the plastic bubbling up from the cleaning solution they use. The shower floor was filthy. This is by far the worst Super 8 (or any Wyndham brand) hotel I have ever stayed in. Go elsewhere.

Worst Review of Super 8 by Wyndham, 1790 Aeroplaza Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80916 I can’t say enough bad things about the Super 8 on Aeroplaza Drive. From the start, it wasn’t perfect. The check-in was slow, and the staff didn’t care about the guests. We booked a non-smoking room, but they first gave us a smoking room. When I complained, the lady at the front desk insisted it wasn’t a smoking room. After that, she showed us two other rooms that looked abandoned and terrible—no choice; we had to book one. The room was disgusting. The carpets were stained and sticky, the bedding looked unwashed and torn, and there were mysterious stains on the floor carpet. The bathroom was just as bad, with mold in the shower and tiles out. We booked because the listing mentioned a microwave and fridge, but our room had neither. We didn’t ask for it, as I said; there is no choice, and it’s paid non-refundable. The staff at the front desk were discriminatory, making the whole experience even worse. Asking for a deposit where I saw it in front of me, she didn't ask for a deposit. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Front desk lady was very nice. Room had no smoke detector, no shades on wall lamps, holes in the blackout curtains (which defeats the purpose!) no TP or towels, vanity lights didn’t quite work (only 2 lights). KILLED A BUG in the bathroom! Dated and dumpy!

Positive: Nothing Negative: There was no microwave, coffee maker or mini fridge. The TV didn't work because there was a bullet hole in it. There were only 2 raggedy towels, no face cloths, no floor towel. The bedding had holes in it. Carpet has holes and was dirty.

Rooms are bad curtains tore duck taped together carpet torn up stained. A/C works good enough to freeze you but you can’t get it to go down until it’s nearly off fridge freezes your stuff even though it’s not in the freezer. Shower stained just all around bad experience 100 dollar deposit they gave me a run around saying they can’t find it even though it’s on record they took it place is a scam.

This hotel is affiliated with Wyndham chain, Expedia, Walmart plus, and super 8 businesses.. beware before booking. It appears to cater to questionable clientele..strong odor of pot..no smoking facility. You may feel more comfortable if you have a license to carry. Staff refused to validate following items by stating they already know it. It's obvious the entire team can less what patrons think.. We checked in and key didn't work. It appears they change it randomly as we had 3 keys in 2 days. I intend to share these exact comments with the affiliated businesses previously identified. Our room was not ready to be occupied..no scents/aromas of cleaning/disinfectant agents. An individual across the hall from our room opened our locked door with his key while I was having our non working key, recoded??!! The person identified as the manager said "sorry." Curtains damaged, Bedspread damaged, Walls damaged, Lamp shades damaged, Room smells like smoke, No pillowcases, 3 pillows, 4th pillow missing. Ceiling damaged, 1hand towel, 1 wash cloth, 2 towels, No bath mat, Shower curtain damaged, Toilet loose, Some light fixtures not functioning properly, Bathroom door damaged, Carpet soiled to the point you don't want to be barefoot on it, Looks like someone pissed on hallway carpet, No coffee pot, no microwave as advertised. TV remote was damaged. No breakfast in our building... Wasn't told where to go by staff. Staff was unfriendly, uncaring, unprofessional, uninformative. Ice machine was broken. Refrigerator was broken. A patrons vehicle parked in a handicap spot was involved in what appeared to be a hit and run incident. Checkin and checkout times are not flexible. No security at the facility. RB

Positive: The person who checked us in was awesome and refunded our money!! Negative: Carpets were stained, very dirty looking, very badly worn and stretched out of shape. Back entry door near our room glass was busted out and pieces of plywood stuck in its place partially. Anyone could get in

OK in a pinch. Another hotel that has suffered from lack of maintenance. This place is definitely timeworn. No longer serving breakfast, they directed me to their sister motel across the way. there, they had no fruit, no yogurt, no bread, no muffins or bagels, no waffles or pancakes, no juice, no milk. The dry cereal dispenser did have some cereal in it (all this at around 7AM) but there was a hand-written note next to the cereal bowls that said: "sorry, out of spoons." My room this visit was the worst - looked like someone repaired a dirt bike or butchered a farm animal - filthy floor, cigarette holes burned in the chair. I felt like I could catch a disease just looking at the place. See accompanying photo.
