Positive: Nice updated furnishings and pleasant staff. TV choices were good. Bedroom was clean but tub was mediocre. Mini frig was clean. Parking was free and well lit but no EV charging station. Negative: The free breakfast was the worst I¿ve ever seen: NOTHING healthy to eat, only donuts and muffins, no decaf coffee & only powdered non-dairy creamer, and coffee was empty when we got there. It was so close to the Interstate that it was VERY noisy. Negative: ""

Took a chance as this hotel was one of the few close to the event location, but you get what you pay for. Hotel has listed free breakfast. Home made blueberry muffins and coffee is not breakfast. They claim it cause of COVID protocol, but this is the 1st hotel / motel that we had maid service since COVID. They came into the room made the bed , restock the bathroom with fresh towels, took out the trash. Coffee machine and cups in the room but no coffee packs. A/C unit had only 1 speed HIGH. Bathroom no stopper in the sink or tub. Asked for shower chair as I'm a disabled vet was told we do not have on. I'm a disabled vet missing my lower leg below the knee. We will not be staying here next year. This building is very dated. I can't tell you the last time I saw an ashtray built into the wall. Plus they spray a hallway with an odor eater. AS I STATED ONLY GOOD THING WAS IT WAS NEAR THE EVENT LOCATION THAT BOUGHT US INTO TOWN.

Strong, unpleasant cooked food smells permeated our room and clothing that lasted for days afterwards. Also permeated our COAP machines. Had to clean out tubing and change filters to completely rid ourselves of the smell. ||||Electrical outlets not reliable for our CPAP machines and the A/C kicked off in the middle of the night - had to be reset.

This hotel is clearly just taking advantage of the event crowd at the fairgrounds. Weeds everywhere in the parking lot, lobby is not well air conditioned, ceiling tiles falling down in the halls, and the room was not great. Plaster on the walls and a single flickering fluorescent light in the bathroom makes it feel like an extremely low budget hotel.

The hallway to the rooms on the first floor smelled like something died. I went to my room and it smelled okay but when I left the next day, I could smell it on my clothes, luggage. I was too tired to complain and didn't want them to add any charges to my credit card. I'm out of state so I wouldn't have any recourse so I waited till my credit card cleared before posting this review. I have stayed previous years and the place has gone downhill over time and this last visit was so disgusting!

Older motel hs torn carpet. If your room is on the backside of the motel, you will hear the highway traffic all night. I like a hard mattress but this was like sleeping on a brick.

Me and my mother recently stayed 2 nights here. The rooms where affordable and a lot less expensive than other hotels in the area. The staff was friendly and made sure our stay was pleasant. The second night I payed online through a 3rd party for 1 room with 1 queen bed, because it was cheaper than 2. When we arrived, they gave us a room with 2 beds without even asking for it, and didn't even change the price. We will definitely be back.!

Charged me over $250 per night. Ice and vending machines were broken. The Best Western across the street was $109 per night.
