Super 8 by Wyndham Brunswick South/I-95 - Hotel in Brunswick - Exit, 211 Palisade Dr, 29 US-17 I-95, USA

When we first checked in the people at the front desk were just staring us down and making us uncomfortable. They were following us to our room and were right behind us the whole time. We asked for extra pillows and they were very rude answering the phone and just told us to come get them. The room itself smelled musty. We went swimming in the pool that afternoon after we checked in and the ENTIRE time we were there (about 1.5 hrs) the people that work there were staring at us and watching us swim and we had 2 young children with us. We also went swimming that night and one of the night employees was smoking weed and tried handing us drugs in front of the children and was hanging around the pool staring at us as well as the children. Let’s just say they were very creepy and the only nice thing I can say is that the pool was clean. Do better and don’t hire creeps and DO NOT bring your kids here.

We called the day before to confirm we can check in early. The woman who answered the phone confirmed and said it would be a $30 charge. I told her we are driving 10 hours and we will arrive around 3am. She said there would be no issue. We arrived at 3am and the lady at the front desk turned us away saying she cannot check us in. They left us with no where to stay with a brand new baby. I do not recommend. Update: in addition to the above inconvenience, we called again to see what time would be appropriate to check in and was told 9am. We showed up at 9 am and the desk worker was beyond rude. He told me I was wrong countless times, his customer service was awful. I am disgusted with this place, its customer service, and this experience. He canceled the reservation.

We only stayed one night in a handicap accessible room. The hand held shower wand was missing in Room 108, so it was not convenient with my injury to get a shower. Breakfast offerings next morning included muffins, cookies, sugary dry cereals, granola bars, instant oatmeal, juices, coffee & tea. There was no one around when my husband went to collect breakfast to bring back to the room. He did not see any trays to facilitate this. There also were no spoons with which to mix the instant oatmeal, so he had to use a coffee stirrer. He somehow made it back to our room juggling 2 bowls and his coffee. To eat the oatmeal, we shared a spoon he found in our car.

I stayed at four similar priced hotels this trip and liked this one best for two main reasons. They have decent carpet in the room rather than cheap vinyl floor that most similar places have. This means I don't have to wear slippers to keep my feet from getting dirty. Cool BIG TV with Directv service!

The beds were comfortable, but the rooms were musty, not updated, and did not feel very clean. We booked a non-smoking room, but there was cigarette smoke smell and heat coming from the bathroom vent. When I asked the owners about it, they said the adjoining room connected by the vent was a smoking room. Did not offer to move rooms or discount the room, just handed me Febreze and told me to spray the bathroom.

Stayed here for one night, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stay again. Our room was super clean, the staff was very polite and the price was very reasonable. They even had Direct TV in the room. Bhavini helped with check in and she was very nice to speak with. Thank you all so much for everything.

Good for a super 8 motel. Walls were dirty but everything else seems fairly clean. Shower head was dirty. A/C worked good. Beds were comfy. Good for a place to sleep while on the road.

Positive: Only the location Negative: Customer service was deplorable. Dirty towels was in the room and when requested new ones, was only given 2. Breakfast should be labeled as take-aways as it was only coffee, juice and 4 muffins to choose from. Front desk attendants were very rude.
