Super 8 by Wyndham Brookings - Hotel in Brookings - 3034 Lefevre Dr, USA

Wonderful hotel! Renovated & updated! The rooms are a great size, CLEAN, well stocked & I can't say enough about the bed & it's linens! The mattress was high quality & the linens were so soft! Best night's sleep I've had in months! Breakfast was basic, but some hot items & filled us up. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit! They have an indoor pool & hot tub to relax in all year round! Finally, the staff was extremely friendly, competent & accommodating. Will definitely stay here again & high recommend for other guests!

The room was clean, and I was surprised that housekeeping services were provided without request. The on button did not work correctly on the in-room coffee maker, but it worked if I held down the button. The price was very affordable, and the close proximity to the Dakotah Bank Center was very nice. Coffee in the breakfast center was FANTASTIC! The room was quiet, didn't even hear the thunderstorm that rolled through during our stay. ||Overall pleasantly satisfied. Great job!

This was our second time at this hotel - it gets good ratings and is in really good shape (carpets, furnishings, bathrooms, etc). This was also the second time we checked in and our room wasn’t ready. The first time a family’s belongings were in the room and someone was in the bathroom; this time the bed wasn’t made and used towels and wash cloths were on the floor. The attendant at the front desk apologized and escorted us to a clean room. It smelled funny so we opened the window. When we checked out, my husband mentioned the smell and found out the first floor is all pet friendly and because we reserved a king bed were on the first floor because there weren’t king beds on the second floor. Maybe a third time would be the charm to getting a room that was ready for new guests on the second floor away from pets - we’re just not willing to risk a third stay to find out.

This hotel is top notch. I wish all the Super 8's were this nice. Checkin was smooth, rooms were fresh and clean. Breakfast was simple, little cheese omelets, sausage, and much more. I will definitely choose Brookings Super 8 again if I am in the area.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The comfortable beds provided a great night's sleep, and the pool was good with a hottube. The attentive service from the staff added to the overall positive experience. Also batter price. Additionally, the convenient access to Interstate I-29 made our travels hassle-free. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Hello! My husband, son and I stayed one night there January 13-14, unfortunately my son forgot a backpack that had a case with 2 glasses, a stamp and a yellow Sonic plushie with 72 dollars inside, we live in Milbank a 130 miles. from the hotel which made it impossible to return that day because it had been forgotten, at that time I contacted the hotel and they told me that they had indeed found it there in the bedroom and they were doing Please keep it, I told them I would pick it up in 1 or 2 weeks due to work and the kilometers we had to travel to get there, today we arrived to pick it up and it turns out that everything was as it was, except the $72 dollars that the stuffed animal cost me. I was wearing it, I told the receptionist and he called a lady who does the cleaning and suddenly told me that they had kept the things as they had found them and that they were not thieves, to which I replied that we had never mentioned that. word thieves, he was simply letting her know that $72 dollars was needed among the forgotten things. I told him okay, thank you for putting the things away and we left with my husband and son, very sad because his savings with which he planned to buy some things had disappeared. 🥺

This was my second time staying here. Our room was huge and very comfortable. However, there is no elevator here. If you struggle with stairs…be sure to let them know on your reservation and hope you get a main floor room. Breakfast was fine, not much variety but it fed us. My real disappointment is that they charged me an additional fee after we checked out. I called the hotel to follow up on it and was told it was a damage fee. To say I was astounded is an understatement!! I asked what the damages were and the clerk said they didn’t know and that they were just a clerk. I asked to speak to a manager and they took my information but I have yet to receive a callback. Poor customer service and sneaky to boot! I will not stay here again.

Positive: Everything looked clean. Furnishings looked almost new. I was surprised to learn that the hotel had been open for 27 years! I appreciated the pool and hot tub being open until 11:00 pm.
