Super 8 by Wyndham Bridgeport/Clarksburg Area - Hotel in Bridgeport - 108 Barnetts Run Rd, USA

The room was great! The place is newly renovated with brand new furniture. The staff was very helpful, especially the manager, Jordan! She was very informative for our trip! She also seemed very knowledgeable and helped with everything we needed! Definitely would recommend this motel to anyone traveling in the area!

Avoid this hotel! It started out badly and just got worse… on my way to the hotel they called me to tell me that they overbooked and I could not have my room that was booked for 2 double beds non-smoking… I ended up with a “xl twin bed that is basically a queen” which it most definitely was not. Then the room had a terrible fly infestation (see photos), the tv/remote didn’t work and staff just said “yea a lot of rooms are like that”. Staff hung out in front of my room half the day smoking and talking loudly/inappropriately because that was apparently their hang out spot, the room had a weird odor, the curtains didn’t close the whole way, people were bringing out the hotel chairs and drinking on the sidewalk/walkway and being obnoxious about it, and to top it all off my card was charged twice. Had there been any other hotel with availability within 30 miles I would have immediately left. Staff was aware of these issues.

Wow! I am blown away by how clean and renovated the rooms are! Not going to lie, when i booked the hotel I was not expecting much. $66, and the pictures it seemed outdated, and we were driving from Canada and just needed to rest. HOWEVER, upon checking in the lady that helped me was super kind and quickly got my room card. entering the room I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately I didnt grab before pics but it smelled so clean, it must have been recently updated as the room appeared nothing as pictured but instead 10 times better! Nice amenities as well. They even had an “express” check out option which allowed you to not even have to drop off your room key! I wont be back this way any time soon, but if i am this will definitely be the place I stay!

Jordan and Sam was so helpful and provided us the information we was looking for. Sam was super helpful upon checking in and made the the check in process very smooth. Jordan made a point to keep fresh coffee made for me. The rooms are newly renovated and very nice. Love the new look they are doing to the outside as well.

Josh at the front desk was amazing. The room is great. We love the Wyndhams they are always clean and has everything we need. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully Josh will still be here. Suggestions only for this room would be a suitable place for us who travel alot and has alot of clothes to have a place to hang them.

Josh is the best worker they have!!!! Very accommodating and attentive! He was quick to jump in and help solve any problem that may have come up during my stay. I’d give him a 10 out of 10! Thank you for making my stay easier and answering any question I may have had. Happy Customer.

I had the best stay ever; it was AMAZING & for the price you just can't beat it! The rooms were VERY clean, the staff was SUPER NICE AND HELPFUL! Breakfast is good too! THANK YOU MS. JORDAN FOR BEING SO ACCOMMODATING. I WILL DEFINITELY BE VISITING WITH YOU ALL ON MY NEXT VISIT TO WVA. THE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY.

For a short night spur of the moment, this place was on top of its game and I would stay here again! Staff was amazing And I’m referring to Jordan the front desk. She was very helpful with breakfast and the extra coffee to go. Nice job Jordan. I’ll stay here again.
