This hotel is a solid two stars.
The person at the counter was friendly and the experience goes downhill from there pretty quickly.
The nightmare starts in the parking lot where you'll notice homeless people sleeping in their cars. Then after you park your car, you'll notice that the exterior doors don't close all the way, let alone lock. A big difference between a hotel and motel is supposed to be the benefit of a somewhat secure hallway.
You can tell that they tried to refresh the property but they barely put lipstick on a pig. They repainted the rooms and hallways but didn't bother to repair any of the previous damage to the walls. You can still see every knick and dent.
If you've made it this far, you'll get to see your room.
I have NEVER been in a room that was so poorly cleaned. The nightstand and desk were covered with a dirty film. The remote and phone were both sticky. The floor barely looked vacuumed and there was still dirt on the floor.
If you're looking for a place to stay, I would definitely recommend looking somewhere else.
Front desk staff was polite and courteous. The room severely lacking cleanliness. Was also missing regular towels. And I found the smoke detector covered with plastic. The remote to the TV was sticky and the desk chair completely destroyed. Whoever owns this establishment must not care about their patrons.
The staff is friendly, but that was the only positive. The floor was so sticky I never took my shoes off on it. Nothing appeared to have been cleaned at all in spite of my being kept waiting some 2 1/2 hours past when I checked in for my room to be "cleaned." Also beware that their "pet rooms" are accessible only by steep stairs and that the only grass outside has also not been cleaned of old dog poop.
All the staff was so wonderful. Especially Mel she was super kind and professional. We chose to leave a day early because we didn’t feel safe and the room smelled horribly like smoke and mildew. Cigarette burns on the bedding and I wouldn’t even change or shower in the bathroom cause it was so gross. There was more people sleeping in the parking lot than in the building. Wouldn’t send my worst enemy here
I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. My room was clean and surprisingly larger than expected. Thank you to the front desk and housekeeping crew. After having emergency surgery I was able to recuperate in peace.
Positive: They recently went through renovations and updated their rooms. Very nice and comfortable with a king size bed, charging ports in all three lamps, cable, free wi-fi and a nice bathroom. For breakfast they have a breakfast room with many options. Negative: Not a thing and great price.
First and foremost, i will say that the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. That's pretty much the only thing this hotel has going for itself.
The Hallways reek of a strong foot odor, and the room itself has a mildew stench. You'll be lucky to have 3 electrical outlets that function, and power constantly cuts out. My chair looked like someone died on it, and there are long term tenants here with what appears to be mental illness. They'll slam doors and yell in the middle of the night. There werent any bed bugs in my room, but others report that they weren't so lucky. The surrounding area seems pretty shady and unsafe with a lot of vagrants floating around, so not an ideal place to walk around past sunset.
They do offer a free but sub par quality continental style breakfast.
Really dirty establishment. To start, their was a lot of hair in the bed. The floors were sticky. The room and the hallways smelled bad. The bed was not comfortable, we could fell all the springs. I dont recommend this hotel. We did many super 8 before, but this one is the worst one.
Amazing service and delicious ice cream, hot dogs and coffees. The vegan options are fantastic and delicious. The atmosphere is fully inclusive -- child friendly, disability friendly, just overall friendly. My child says "possibly the nicest people i
Best latte Iâve had on the peninsula(maple latte)! Super good espresso and a cozy environment that has plenty of space and different types of seating for working/reading. Definitely will be back regularly!
