My husband and I, along with my service dog stayed for two nights on Easter Weekend. We had a handicapped room. It was spacious. The bathroom was nice. I like the mirror surrounded by lights. The receptionist was awesome. Breakfast was good. Already booked room for next trip to visit parents. I would give more stars but 5 was the maximum I could put. Great job.
This place should not be open. Room|Smelled of weed. Curtains were covered in something sticky. Phone had what looked like hot cocoa all over it. Coffee pot had old coffee in it. Bathroom floor was filthy. Fitness room is closed. No towels in the pool. Hot tub is shut down but not safely closed off. The lights went out in the pool while My kids were in it. There is NO EMERGENCY LIGHTING and they were terrified. There aren’t any steps on the ladder in the deep end, either. We’re lucky we didn’t fall in the abandoned hot tub as we felt our way out. Manager offered to give us $25. What a joke. Stay literally anywhere else. This place should be shut down.
Positive: The pool. The staff didn't give any privacy. They kept knocking on the door saying they needed to check the toilet, the cable Negative: The staff didn't give any privacy. They kept knocking on the door saying they needed to check the toilet, the cable. The toilet wouldn't flush even after them using the snack
It’s clean and it is a value place to stay. The breakfast is limited but does have eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, pastries, blueberry mini muffins, and bagels. ||The shower curtain rod was broken at the wall connection and drooped in the middle. The shower curtain would slip to the middle also no matter how hard you try to keep it at the end. ||They were stingy with the bathroom supplies. One small bar of soap for the shower and one small bar of soap for the sink and wasn’t replaced during the 6 night stay. One small tube of shampoo, half used by the previous guest, not replaced until asked for a new one. ||You get what you pay for.
This was strange- they present themselves as a "pet friendly" hotel. If you really dig for details on the website, they only specify 2 pets maximum with a 40 pound limit. On arrival, I was told that cats are not allowed, and there is also a 3-night maximum stay for people with pets (I booked for 5 nights with a cat). There is also an additional $20/night fee for pets that is posted on a sign at the desk, which is fine but all of these policies should be listed on their website as well so that people aren't surprised. They did graciously allow me to check in with my pet and stay the 5 nights that I had already paid for. Most amenities were closed for this full time, and ongoing renovations had the entire place smelling strongly of glue and paint. Rooms are slightly sketchy in various ways- toilet flushing at a 50% success rate, only 1 outlet available (not near the bed), the fridge was so cold that my drinks exploded, foul smell coming from the heater whenever the vent kicked on. Generally, not great.
Bed bugs, bed bugs, woke up around 1 a.m. with a painful itch and found that there was a bed bug. I called the manager and talked to him, and he said that since they had just renovated, they didn't have any bed bugs and that I brought the bed bugs with me. I was shocked and looked at it, but they said the guest who stayed there last night had left it behind so they changed my room.
This hotel is not worth giving even one star. There was a moldy smell in the room, and it was unpleasant.
If you don't want to be bitten by bed bugs, don't go to this hotel.
Room and bedding were clean. Enjoyed the pool which was larger than I expected and at just the right temperature. Breakfast was nice for a budget hotel and dining area kept clean. Hot tub was not working but it was not really advertised so I wasn’t expecting there to be one. I will come back here again.
Very clean and welcoming motel. Don't believe anything others have said on a bad review post as its simply not true!!!
This motel is nice, the people are kind. They have treated us wonderful.
Hotel grounds, inside, and rooms very clean. Hotel staff very friendly, attentive, and prompt with assisting you. The room was clean, I was able to set the thermostat to the temperature I wanted. I had no complaints or issues. Definitely would stay h
We had a great weekend staying at Hotel Goodwin! The hotel is theme with a 1920âs theme with a modern flare. We enjoyed drinks and shot up on the rooftop. The rooftop offers seating inside and outside with views over looking the area. Honestly I wo

YN is an awesome lil smoke shop that caters to everybody (including myself) and the employees have fantastic knowledge on their stuff, especially the disposable vapes and water pipes. I've had a chance to personally meet the family that owns the shop
Best. Pool Installation and Service Company. Ever.
Tom, Brian and the rest of the team at Wolter Pools and Spas are the real deal! This is the team! From start to finish, they were awesome throughout the entire dig/build. Great communication.
We went here on Christmas Day and were super impressed. They were SWAMPED with people buying movie tickets and concessions, as well as people coming from the sides for popcorn refills.
The staff handled everything so well, while being polite and cal
I'll start by saying the moment we walked in they had great customer service, they asked us how many times we've been there and when we said it was our first time they got excited. They showed us thier very large menu and let us know they have a fry
Beautifully crafted, feels upscale without being stuffy. We went for an after dinner drink on our last night in Beloit. We stayed at Hotel Goodwin, had dinner at the Velvet Buffalo downstairs & decided to cap our night off at The Rooftop.
