Super 8 by Wyndham Asheville Airport - Hotel in Fletcher - 183 Underwood Rd I-26, USA

We checked in and went to the room that REEKED of smoke and was filthy. I went to get another room. It also REEKED of smoke. Furniture was ripped and stained. The curtains were duck taped. This rooms have not been painted in 20 years. Use your imagination and it's worse than that. Sheets had BURN HOLES in them. Toilet wouldn't flush. There was a random earring on the bedside table. I presumed if I made it alive until the morning (super scary clientele) that I would wake with lice, bed bugs and fleas. In my 57 years of life this is the nastiest place I've ever stayed. The 2nd worse was also a Super 8. Lesson learned. There was NO breakfast as advertised. Clerks apologized for NOTHING. I can't believe the prices they charge for this dump. When I reported to corporate all they offered was they would report to Management.

This place is nasty. Our first room I walked in and immediately came back out of it and went straight to the frotndesk. The cigarette smoke smell was overpwering. it was marked a non smoking room. The second room was barely better. Smell not quite as overpowering. Burn holes in the top sheet. Furniture filthy and coming apart. Mold on the ceilings. An earring on the side table! Electric tape on the curtains. This place should be condemned.

Positive: The room had a retro style, but it was clean and comfortable. Negative: Free breakfast advertised, what we got was a cup of peaches and a granola bar in a paper bag. House came banged on the door and walked into the room 15 min before check out, while I was showering. 5 min later, banging on the door trying to get in again! Negative: ""

Positive: "" Negative: The lamp in our room was broken so changed room - the new room had no lamp so at 9 pm we took the one working lamp from one room back to our old roombreakfast was a grab and go = kool aide, poor quality fruit cup and a stale energy bar. Luke=warm coffee

Positive: Its listing... It was affordable and breakfast included. But, Breakfast included meant a brown bag with a fruit cup, a granola bar and a Capri Sun. So the money that you saved is still spent when your family still needs to stop for breakfast elsewhere. Negative: Advertised as breakfast included. However, they give you a "breakfast bag". A bag with a granola bar, a fruit cup and a Capri Sun. A snack bag at best. Very misleading when choosing a place to stop for the night, after an 8 hour drive, with two children. Negative: ""

Old, worn, torn and very nasty room we were given. Blood or some sort of red substance was all over the door and frame. Burn holes were in the bedspread even though this was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Holes were in the window drapes. Noisy, creaking floor from upstairs tenants. Very nasty room.

Positive: "" Negative: The door to the hotel room had settled and left huge cracks at the top and bottom. I felt unsafe. The fitted sheet was dirty so I slept on top of the blanket.

Positive: Proximity to my event, located adjacent to woods and a meadow good for dogs. The bed was comfortable although I did not venture to turn down before using it Negative: Shabby, poorly maintained, bad smell in room, climate control either too cold or too hot.
