First timer for me and we saw Carolyn Owens last night. Totally impressive place and people were outstanding. Very clean and very reasonable pricing on the snacks. I will be back to see more shows.
The Sunset Theater is a community gem for Asheboro. I've seen two RSVP Community Theater productions there and it is a wonderful renovated facility. If you get a chance to see a play or event there, visit with confidence.
Terrific venue for love music. We had the pleasure of catching a bluegrass show featuring Caroline Owens. Acoustics were great and the seats were comfortable.
Love the venue! However, the balcony section was a little on the warm side. It could use some air conditioning.
So impressed with this theatre troop. The refurbished theatre is intimate and Asheboro is charming. Will definitely come again.

The theater is perfect but the setup they have needs updating at the concession stand. They have a tiny popcorn machine and you miss most of the show waiting in line for the popcorn. I appreciated the free show but would have GLADLY paid for a seat to help pay for them a bigger popcorn machine.
