Sunset RV Park - RV park in Hitchcock - 6127 Hwy 6, USA

We absolutely love Sunset RV Park. Mrs. Wanda is one of the kindest and thoughtful people we have dealt with in a long time. Their prices are very reasonable. The park is very quiet. We’ve stayed there long term twice, and are still here. If we ever end up in the Hitchcock area again we’d definitely book with her!

This is my second time staying at Sunset RV. I have to say that I am very impressed with the management and with the hospitality shown here. With the new renovations, very competitive prices, and friendly staff here, I would absolutely recommend this RV park to anyone. Mrs.Wanda has been an absolute blessing to my kids, my wife and I.

Extremely poor location, there's nothing around for miles. The management is piss poor the owners are a joke. Glad and grateful I'm out of there. Let's not forget the neighbors,they are liars and theives so beware of snakes in the grass there 🤔

I have been here since June and the people here at the park are such wonderful people willing to lend a hand if you need it. Really made me feel so much better since it was my first time RVing. The park itself you can't beat! I have been to the larger one's but I really like this one cause it's close to Galveston, League City and Texas City. The fact that it's easy access to all makes a world of difference to me. They do have a club house that has a pool table,darts, kitchen,shower and bathroom. They have a nice laundry facility! It's a great place! I Love it!

Since the renovations they don't have but maybe 2 showers working. No handicap accessible facilities at all. My mother in law came to visit and had a difficult time with getting to the laundry or clubhouse due to no wheelchair ramps . The clubhouse has a full kitchen but we are not permitted by owners to cook up there. They open it at 8 am and close at 9 pm. Someone like myself gets up for work at 3 am how am I suppose to shower when closed. The wifi is sketchy at times and there's no cable tv. Yet the place is renovating but going up on prices and taking away all the amenities they offered. Since the new owners took over the place is going down hill. I wouldn't let my dog stay here. Not to mention they stated they have a dog park. Never had one

I visited here end of November with my husband and our children we had such an adventurous time. The kids loved how close we were to the beach and all the fun extra curicular activities they got to do. Mrs Juanda the manager there is so polite and very helpful with everything. Over all this is an amazing rv park and I can't wait for us to come back after all the remodeling that's being done to the place we might just have to move here.

I stayed here back in November and it was truly a delight. The manager Ms. Juanda was very respectful and helped me with everything I needed help with. Just an all around good place to take the wife for a good...fun....clean time!! Ms. Juanda is truly amazing and very helpful!! Highly recommend visiting it!!!

This rv park over the past couple months has gotten so much better since the new manager juanda she is very helpful. She was able to tell me and my girlfriend so much about the area and was so respectful. Loved staying here definitely gonna come back for sure.
