Clean, new, interactive playground equipment. Horse shoe put next to pavilion, not in the best shape but it worked for us. Horse shoes were already there. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean for park bathrooms. Not a very known location even to locals it is often not thought of to use for family gatherings etc. Highly recommend.
This place is just a short walk from my house. We’ve seen so much wildlife here. It’s a nice peaceful spot to just zen out and enjoy Mother Nature. There’s a nice view of one of the many bridges here in Portage too.
Soon this park will be even better. They are putting in new equipment for the kiddos. I believe they have already started the process and it shouldn't be too too much longer now until the new playground is in place.

Place is always busy, whether it's the drive thru or the walk up window. As the cup you get your Chocolate Shop ice cream reads, "it contains real ingredients & it's not low fat or low calorie & everyone loves it". The food choices are meant to fill
