Sunset Palms RV Park - RV park in Yuma - 11450 S Payson Dr, USA

This is a friendly RV Park with excellent amenities. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The whole park was clean. Jim in maintenance keeps everything in tip top shape. We met some very nice folks at the park. The very nicest being Linda and Keith who were close neighbors to us. Linda baked us 2 loaves of banana nut bread! Keith gave us several packages of gourmet chips. They even offered for us to spend a rather hot afternoon under their canopy if we were too warm. What a darling couple. They made us feel so welcome. So much so, we've decided to spend all of next winter here at Sunset Palm and hope to park in the same campspot as this year.

Far enough away from the busy roads and interstate for a quiet stay. A lot of activities to do. The sites are large with full hookups, Very well kept and clean park. Downside is permanent residents aren't allowed to plant anything in the ground. A nice park sorely lacking in trees, cacti and other native vegetation outside the office area giving it a sterile parking lot feel. Shuffleboard needs to be resurfaced. Close to stores and restaurants. Very reasonably priced compared to other parks in the area.

I left my coffee mug behind. One of the employees tried to catch me. They misplaced it and search and found it. It was a adventure. I'm thankful. My lost coffee cup is now home...

This is a very nice RV Park! The managers are very friendly and nice. The owners and the general manager of all of the owners parks is another story. They initiated a substantial rate increase in 2023 with the promise of free streamable wifi and other amenities, none of which has happened. The wifi is actually worse than in past years. The general manager is doing nothing to alleviate the problem and is actually insinuating that the problem is with the residents equipment, ie phones, televisions etc. Truly sad because this was one of the nicest parks in the foothills.

Wonderful park, we were in a bind and they were wonderful. The park is clean and big lots very nice people! Thank you, Peg and Jim and Michelle!! See you next year for Howling At The Moon!!!🌕 😎😊

This is our ( myself and my wife), third year here at Sunset Palm. Effective last year a (ownership, management) change was implemented. A substantial rate increase for this year and following years was implemented with promises of streamable wifi/internet, a pickleball court, new pool tables to replace the aging broken ones in the game room. Well! We have so so wifi that we can only access when the system allows it, we have a pickleball court we cannot use because it has no net or corresponding lines, and no new pool tables. The park managers here are fantastic but they have had their hands tied by the ownership and are not able to do anything about the issues at hand. Extremely sad, this park "was" our choice for our winter home. We may start looking elsewhere as many others already have.

Great RV Park very neat and clean. Manager's on duty when we pulled in we're very nice, helpful they even raked the space to level out the gravel. All of the neighbors were really friendly most were there for the Winter. Wide level spaces and no trees! My kind of RV Park!

Not dog friendly poor management and they kicked out our service dog made up issues to get around the ADA
