Room was absolutely disgusting and there were holes in the sheets. The room smelled horrible and the bathroom fan made a horrible noise. Me and my bf refused to sleep there and when we tried to get a refund the man was very difficult. We were only able to get one after calling the booking website.

Worst experience ever, I go there about two days ago and leave at 1 AM because I was bitten by bugs and bedbugs all over my body. They did give me my refund . won’t recommend going there until they clean the whole place out. Every bed is infested. They honestly need to be charged

Very bad experience. Booked room 1 day before, and got call next day at 11:30 your credit card is declined and when I want to use another credit card, they told me the room is taken by other customer and try to sell me another room with higher price. with in 5 min I booked with same credit card room with another motel and it is done successfully. They almost ruin my memorial day vacation

Wow. I had to rent a room last minute during the height of "shore season" in May's Landing, NJ and the only place within a decent price range was the Sunset Motel. My only choice was a smoking room.||||The room reeked of smoke as if a party had taken place, and it was clear that housekeeping didn't even use some fragrance to mask the smell. The poorly lit room had stained sheets, a stained carpet, mold in the bathroom, and there was no towel rack. In fact, the towels were "plastic" material and didn't absorb a drop.||||The bathroom door frame was falling apart and there was no peephole in the main door.||||I felt dirty just being in the room and promptly took another shower in the morning to get the odor off of me.||||This place needs to be razed, to say the least. ||||I will never stay here again.

For the past 4 years my husband, child and myself have been coming to this motel while we visit A.C. We have enjoyed the room (always requested the same room) which does come with a fridge & microwave, room is very neat and with no odor from cigarettes. There is a Wawa and McDonald's nearby and it's a nice ride into A.C. without all the traffic in the way. If you want a neat, quite room- that's also affordable- to rest from the bustling boardwalk...This is the place to stay!

I stayed at this hotel our room door didnt lock there was cigarette burns in the blanket bugs in my room our toliet didn’t flush barely worked air conditioning took hours to cool the room fridge didnt work for drinks no ashtray in room very unhappy spent my boyfriends birthday weekend not sanity slept in car because we were afraid of bedbugs the front desk yelled at us for taking to much ice for our drinks the soda machine was almost all sold out had to drive to get drinks at gas station wouldn’t recommend this place overpaid and was super dissapoint whar a waste of my money and time! didnt see a pool which was listed very rude front desk staff

Disgusting place! We left like 30 minutes after getting there! Blankets and cover were covered in stains. I asked for different blankets and they had blood stains. Pulled up cover from bed and bed was covered in pee stains! Don't waist your money!

Probably the most disgusting motel I’ve stayed at. Infested with flies and black widows, bathrooms are disgusting and had how to remove the lid of the tank to even flush the toilet. The door in the bathroom looked like it had been punched a couple of times. Don’t stay here no matter how enticing their cheap prices are.
