Worst hotel ever , the front desk lady or manager whatever she is is so rude and all she does it stare. Made me put a deposit and has still yet to send it back a month later! The rooms are nasty the blankets stink and the rooms are hot with very little AC. Like a previous comment said before even a minute later after checkout she’s judging You and throwing smart comments. Don’t waste Your time or money with this place or people. Her husband is okay she has an attitude problem
A friend had recommended that we stay in the oceanfront Vern Brown Addition, so I went to their web site and clicked as follows:||||Rooms||Vern Brown Addition||Vern Brown Two Queens Room 358, 360, 362||Book Now||Enter Dates||13 room styles came up, so I clicked on double queen bed room MGQQ and then confirmed.||||When we got to the motel, they put us in the main building, rather than the oceanfront Vern Brown as requested. When I asked about this, I was told that code MGQQ is in the main building. There was nothing at all on the website to indicate what the various codes meant, and their website had led me directly to rooms MGQQ, presumably in the Vern Brown Addition. I asked what the price difference would be and they said $60 more per night. I was aghast at the difference and we stayed, disappointingly, in the main building. The room was about as expected for a 2-star motel, and definitely not worth the $127.93 a night (including tax) that we paid. They could see how disappointed we were at check-in and should have put us in the Vern Brown Addition as an act of goodwill. It certainly wasn't high season!
Quaint "old school" motel - drive up to the door type... Clean and comfortable, and with a Southwest decor. Microwave, fridge and TV were all newer and much appreciated.
room was filthy and smelled so bad made me sick garbge on floors , and under bed, marks on walls bathroom reminded me of out house. thought it was a good deal but was dissapointed and would not recommand this place unless you despret and need a place to crash . realisticly place should be condemend and shut down for good.
Sunset Motel is conveniently located right off the freeway. The rooms are clean and the service was awesome! My family and I always stay here when we are traveling from AZ to CA!
Well there was no real heating and I showed up during the day, the door didnt properly hold up, the toilets were for a child, its loud and when I made a phone call to get a different room was ignored I immediately asked to get a refund but they still haven't given back my money and I was only there for 30 minutes; I sure hope they see their reviews or at least give me my refund in full and not just the deposit.
If you are there a moment past checkout, the owner's wife will shame you and if you are not in your room, she will pack all of your things up and throw them in a trash bag with no notice. The place is a dump.
Pooor service DESCRIMINATION Wouldn’t rent a room to my husband because he said they were to expensive but we still wanted to rent and she refuse to rent a room she said no you said it was expensive so no I won’t rent you anymore.

This restaurant was recommended by our local family. We are visiting from AZ. It is definitely a place we will visit again. The small town cafe feel and country cooking are great!
Pretty little spot right off Hwy 243. It's well-maintained. There are picnic tables and grills to enjoy lunch or you can pick a spot somewhere along the edge of the lake to sit and enjoy. There is a round, wooden walkway/pier from which several peopl
Awesome place to stop by on the way out to or coming from LA, out to Joshua Tree. We stopped there on our way back from a great weekend in 29 Palms. Food was fantastic - biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, the whole 9 yards. Service was great and the
A nice selection of a little of everything. They really do have a LARGE selection of liquor/ alcohol. They have normal "gas station" products with not being one. They have a few essentials as well as some t-shirts and hats and such. The employees are
Welcoming family restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. Red and yellow Currys were some of the best in the greater Palm Springs area. We will be returning to try more dishes in their menu.
