Saw very unsanitary things there when needing to rent a room. illegal activity....wouldn't recommend this place even if I didn't like you.People please be careful....... A family member is traumatized from staying at sunset recently.Beware..... bedbugs,roaches,R.S.O's, Rats.
I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean, and the service was great!!! To top it all off, it was very affordable!!!
0 Stars! The WORST motel I have ever stayed in. Here's some points to consider before staying here: 1. Roaches and bugs are everywhere; in every single drawer, the floors, the bathroom, the closet, the bed, etc. 2. It smelled really bad like age old cigarette stains and mold. 3. Super shady! As the night went on, it actually got louder there with more people in the parking lot, drug deals, and the manager at 11pm dragging some huge machine across the parking lot with two other shady looking guys. 4. They only took cash, no cards. I assume this is so that they can avoid taxes and liabilities in case someone tries to sue them. 5. The amenities are almost non-existent, as the mini fridge and microwave were plugged in using an orange extension cord that was run from the bathroom, the tv barely worked on the digital antenna channels they offered, and there is one dim old light in the room making it extra dingy looking. 6. The parking lot is super small and you can barely move around the druggies in the parking lot that are 'permanent residents' there. Avoid this place at all costs. I'm surprised the inspectors haven't shut them down yet...
I had training seminar for work. The front desk was very helpful. The room was set really nice. we were well taken care of . Great motel I will definitely recommend to my friends and family. Manager was very helpful. Property was very well maintained. 3 MOTELS IN YUCAIPA .. this is a best one .. of course it’s a family friendly motel . 👍🏻
Harry the owner is always on site and goes to great lengths to take care of you , { he even helped me find a job ! } It's an Historical place and the folks here are so sweet , plus it's walking distance to shopping or a great meal & cocktail's ! Yucaipa is a little jewel of a place nestled up in the mountains , worth the drive and in moments one can be out in the pine trees up old HWY 38. It's a place with good vibes and lovely people . { Thank you Harry , got that job ! } Tammy
I would NEVER recommend this place, not even if I hated you!! My husband and I woke up after our 2nd night of what was supposed to be a week stay in rm 7 with a kitchenette, we were itching like crazy and covered in red bumps to learn that "sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite" was not just a saying . We both had bites from head to toe literally! And if that wasn't bad we even seen them! We put a couple in between a piece of clear tape and showed one of the managers along with our dozens of bites and they repeatedly denied that they had bed bugs and would only give us half the money back. It cost More than that to make sure we didn't bring them home with us! Everything we had with us was pretty much trash if you couldn't freeze it or heat it up to extreme temperatures!! I've never felt so disgusting, not to mention beyond furious!!
I want to say that the sunset has come a long way since 2016 grounds are very welcoming and the staff are like people out of a story book willing to help at all times day or night and for being a old motel the grounds and rooms are very clean the management are doing a great job of hiring people who care about their guest thank you for the great stay
It's a historic (first motel in yucaipa) with noticable german architectual influences. The rooms and bathrooms are old, the only reason I gave it such a high rating is the owners are very good people, hospitable and gracious. The price, you can't do better than the weekly rate anywhere around here. Safety is not concern as the owners are very vigilant. Lastly, free Wi-Fi and HBO which works great. * I would suggest ice and ice buckets, but that's just me. They will give you what they have but they are so nice I feel bad asking everyday do I bought my own. 😃
We were first timers. Took my two boys there. I thought they would try a few laps and then quit. Nope, they did like 50! They LOVED it. They were sad when it was time to go. Everyone there was super nice and treated us well. I highly recommend this p
I figured I would give this place a try as it was the nearest shaved ice cream shop to me at the time. Itâs a small little shop with a sign outside to give you a visual menu of what they offer. The ice cream combos looked really festive they were f
Had a really tasty lunch . Torta de Milanesa with fries and a drink. The staff is really friendly and place is very clean . Will be back to try something new .
We absolutely love this restaurant! The food is delicious, the customer service is outstanding. The fish and shrimp tacos are my favorite but everything we try is amazing. Albondigas soup is perfection-especially for a rainy day!
Found a refuge here, coming out of the craziness of the pandemic. Great small gym, with awesome owners who care about their client's experience and comfort. The first time I went in, I was lucky enough to get a tour and helpful tips from Eric, the ow
This is a nice size taproom with plenty of space for large crowds. I was little surprise that there was no hop smell with seeing all the fermenters. There's plenty of beers to choose with great pricing from all different sizes. If you were looking to
