Sunset Inn Clarksville - Motel in Clarksville - 2600 W Main St, USA

Stayed here the night after the eclipse. Great rate, comfortable beds, overall fairly clean. The only complaint is the bathroom fan falling down from the ceiling. They have top and ground level rooms and the attendant was very accommodating as I asked for a top level and he gave it to me. Just outside of town with easy access to the highway. One major plus is their beds and pillows have encasements which makes it feel cleaner for sure. The room has a coffee maker, microwave, and a mini fridge. Great for travelers. Would stay again if I were in the area.

I honestly don't know where to even start with this review... This place is rough! Between the rundown rooms and the number of transients living there and the dog fights outside your room it's a lot to take in. Part of the hotel is adjacent to an old abandoned restaurant where you could see the mice coming and going. Inside the rooms are old and run down. Around the outlet switches duty and black grim. In the bathroom you could see where the urine was running down the walls and it dried... Exposed wiring. The walls are very thin you can hear everything! Not to mention the little window you have to speak through in the middle of the day to even check in.

They wouldn't even open the door when I arrived. I used the window. Assumed it was maybe just because it was late. The next morning, i again could not get in the door. Had to use the window. She opened it 3 inches. Not very friendly at all. If you need a place to lay your head, it works. Bed seems clean, and I have definitely stayed in worse.

Stopped the first night because it was the only open room in town. My dog was with me, so they gave me a room with laminate flooring (not sure if they all are). But, it made me feel better knowing if there was an accident, it'd be an easy clean up. Rooms were neat & clean, comfy bed and warm shower. Ended up staying the next night as well because she was so friendly and it was nice & clean. Only 4 stars because there was no breakfast, but there is a diner in the parking lot! (As others mentioned, sure the bathroom could use some updates, but no problems with functionality!)

The Indian guy was not accomodating and we travel from 12 hours and he's saying that their system was down and just cancel the booking. Like is that how you manage your customer? Not recommended!

Lady at front desk is friendly. We were here for a 2 night stay on our motorcycles. She offered a rag to clean the bikes, and chairs for sitting outside to talk. The room was adequate for our needs with a refrigerator that worked well. Didn’t use the microwave. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Hot water immediately came out the pipes for a morning shower. My only complaint would be that the toilet sits so low that it feels it was made for a child. I fear an older person would have a hard time getting down and back up. Friday night was great. Nice and quiet. Saturday night there was a group of males next door who stayed outside drinking and talking (cursing) loudly. We turned on a movie that ended around 11:30 pm and by that time they had retired. I would stay here again for the good price.

DON’T STAY. UNLESS YOU LIKE WAITING 1.5 HOURS FOR THE FRONT DESK MAN TO WAKE UP FROM HIS NAP. RANG THE OUTSIDE BELL AND CALLED THE MOTEL OVER 50 TIMES. FINALLY WENT TO ANOTHER MOTEL AND DECIDED TO TRY HIM ONE LAST TIME BEFORE PAYING FOR ANOTHER PLACE HE FINALLY ANSWERED AND SAID HE WAS ASLEEP WITH A CHUCKLE. DID’NT EVEN APOLOGIZE!!! THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I didn't go here. We ate at the Farmers Market cafe. We ordered grilled chicken breast, mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Dinner salad. Had iced tea. My sister had grilled pork chops, mashed potatoes with brown gravy. A large coke. The food was excellent. Chicken so tender, juicy. The mashed potatoes soft and creamy. Yummo. I recommend this restaurant. 5stars.
