Sunset Inn - Motel in Greenville - 1403 Wade Hampton Blvd, USA

Stayed in a couple of their 80 dollar rooms but then decided to spend the $400 for a week. Not like the other rooms. Dirty, bugs, and bad smell. Super small with no windows. Then they called telling me I look a pillow. Were going to call the police. I only had on pillow. No internet either

The Sunset Inn is your typical motel. It's a one-level building with each room's entrance leading directly to the parking lot. The rooms are ... well rooms, nothing special. The room I was in had two double beds. The floor and walls were a drab grey color. The room also had a wall-mounted T.V., a microwave, a coffee maker, and a desk and chair setup, but no artwork on the walls. The bathroom was small but served its purpose. Recommended use: Good for someone who isn't wanting anything special. Best for the traveler that may be looking for a one-night stay for some relaxation and sleep. If you're looking for a hotel/motel for a vacation stay, I would not recommend the Sunset Inn. As I said, it's best for one or maybe two nights to get some rest and a shower.

They had Bedbugs in room 211, went to room 214 and check the beds one of the beds look like it had what seems to be vomit on the sheets and bed was remade. They sent me to room 210 and it had roaches and bed bugs. Lady at the front had a rude attitude about it and acted as if she didn't want to give me my money back. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Dhec needs to shut it down honestly. That's the nicest thing I could say about it.

This is my second time staying for a night, the only reason I didn't get to a review last time is due too enjoying my stay so much it slipped my mind. Best 77$ I have spent on any hotel from west virginia to myrtle beach to here. Staff is very friendly, the manager is very polite and funny. Room was clean, nice size for the price, love the full bathtub after working outside all day. I will gladly be coming here every time I need a hotel room.

Lived there for 3 hellish years! The rooms are so expensive! At the time the rooms weren't remodeled and I paid $300.00 a week. There mattresses were nasty along with the sheets and pillows. There was cockroaches, bedbugs, ants, spiders, and bugs that I didn't even know what they were.The service was terrible. They are remodeling it now but all the mattresses and furniture are used from the owners sister who owns a motel. They are putting wall up over the existing wall so all those nasty bugs will be coming back full force to get rent free!! So, if you plan on a cozy, comfy stay, plan on having company!! The owner cares only about $$$ and drinking!!

Its okay for the price you pay. Just dont go here expecting a 5 star resort because this is a hotel for people who are on a budget. Other than that its got a washer and dryer on site and decent guests. Management is very friendly and accommodating and have been very helpful to me.

I had to see several motels before I chose this one. The others were literally filthy and in wrong and unsafe locations. The price was higher than others in other places, but better than those around. The owner was extremely kind and polite. Rooms were quiet, nice and clean bathroom. Did not have any breakfast. Internet was OK.

Over priced for the size of the rooms. My room also had a stale moldy smell to it. No exaggeration the rooms are half the size of a normal room.
