We enjoyed our stay very much. It's like home away from home. We arrived after dark, but with bright colourful lights it was quite easy to find the place. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and cosy with a fireplace. We were happy to see a microwave in the room in addition to the fridge and coffee-making machine. To our delight we found next morning that the hotel was very conveniently located for walking or driving to the seaside. We'd love to recommend the hotel to people who plan to visit Monterey.
Super cute cozy hotel nestled in PG. The outside reminded me of a Hallmark channel. We went in Dec, so the lights were on, crisp air, excellent location to the beach. The rooms were much smaller than seemed in pictures. Very clean, No drawers for clothes, but thankfully it was a quick overnight trip. The man at the front was very nice & friendly.
Lovely neighborhood. Great location. To hotel is close to beach, trails, and restaurants. The staff is very welcome and makes sure that you have everything you need to. We will definitely come back again.
Perfectly located and just a 3 minute walk to the ocean near the intersection of Asilomar and Lighthouse Ave. ||Lovely room with small in-wall fireplace and queen bed. very clean and tastefully decorated. ||Generous breakfast buffet in the hotel office. Boutique coffee machine. Mgr Sandy let us park for an extra couple of hours while we bikes 17 Mile Drive. . All in all a very good experience
Great location. Easy walk into Pacific Grove and over to Monterey. |Complex was quiet, but not isolated. Staff was attentive. Breakfast was offered. Bed was very comfortable. Fireplace made for a cozy room. Ceiling fan a nice option. Lighted mirror in bathroom.
Staff was friendly. Room had plenty of space and was remarkably quiet. Enjoyed the gas fireplace. Best part was walking to the beach. Pacific Growth is a cute town and close to everything you would want to see or do in the area. We would stay again.
We spent a Friday night here on January 12th and were very pleased with this motel. It appears to be an older hotel that was very nicely renovated and the location was within walking distance to the shore and lighthouse at Point Pinos. We would stay again without hesitation.
The hotel is overall high value for what you pay compared to other hotels in the general area. We were in room 109 the Sand Dollar room and it needed some TLC. There was a hole between the toilet and shower that needed patching and painting also some of the baseboard needed painting. The shower floor has a strange metal looking spackling. But the bedroom was immaculately clean and comfortable. The standard room is much smaller than in the pictures. I would return here but request a different room.
Great little B&B that is centrally located in Pacific Grove. Walking distance to cannery row, the aquarium and the monarch butterfly sanctuary.
The rooms were clean and everything worked well (for such an old house). We had no problems. There is a ni
Beautiful B&B in a perfect location! My husband and I spent two nights in the Marie room which has a gorgeous ocean view. It was so peaceful lying in bed in the morning watching dolphins and sea lions swimming in the waves and the seabirds flying thr
Cozy, lovely place. I enjoyed my stay there a lot. Well curated design/materials in the rooms and public area, I liked the attention to detail. Furniture and rooms are in very good condition, beds are comfortable. The building is quite old and you he
Wasn't sure what to expect, so I'm trying to give as detailed of a review as possible so that hopefully whoever sees it has a good idea of what they're paying for.
The rooms were smaller than expected. But if you're intending to be out the whole day
A wonderful place to sit and reflect. The crashing waves are always intriguing. There is a path between several benches in the area. A great place to enjoy while on a coastal walk or bike ride.
First time experiencing Maxâs grill and the food was out of this world! Definitely going to be a repeat customer whenever we pass through Pacific Grove/Monterey. Absolutely amazing customer service, beautiful and cozy atmosphere. 10/10 would recomm
