Sunset Grille - Bar & grill in Sebring - 2650 US Hwy 27 S, USA

Upon arrival, we were asked to go over to the bartender to get checked in. The restaurant was busy and very understaffed. The nice bartender let us have a seat and told us we would have a long wait, but we agreed. He was right, the wait was very long. He was right. It was a little over an hour before the server was able to take our order. We weren't given a menu cause we were prompted to go to the bar for check-in so that added to the wait. It was altogether a super rough day for them. As for the food, was good, and it was a nice environment however, I would have expected my grouper sandwich (picture included) to have more fish for a $21 sandwich with a side of coleslaw. It's a shame cause it was delicious. Also, the kicker balls were a really good appetizer, but of 6 in the potion, 2 were burned and hollow (also pictured here). The chocolate cake....divine. I think we'll give it another chance when it's calmer.

We were looking forward to eating on the deck out by the lake. A young man handed us menus and utensils and told us to go out, find a table and a server would be right out. After 15 minutes and asking another server if she was our server, she was not, I got up and went to the bar to at least get us a drink. I don't mind waiting, but something to drink makes the wait easier. The manager was the bartender. He apologized, made our drinks, said a server would be right out. By the time I got out to the table, a server not ours, took our order. At least our order was in. Thankful. Ordered the Drunken Sailor and Ribeye with baked potato. My Drunken Sailor was hot and delicious. Partner's steak was over cooked, and cold, as well as the baked potato. Loved the view watching the sunset.

We love this place! First off the 2 for 1 margaritas are the bomb! Salmon in the honey glaze is delicious 😋 and the turkey BLT yummy 😋. Not to mention the beautiful view on the Lake Jackson. Super friendly girls and bartender. Great staff period!

Needless to say was in mood for a margarita and an appetizer. Coconut shrimp was very gd. Margaritas average from pre-made mixture. Asked for a after dinner drink. Didn't have what I ask for. Settled for a grand marnier. Unfortunately it was served with fruit flies in it. Very disappointing. Didn't make a seen. Just paid my tab and left. Not sure I'll b back. So much potential. Don't ever see it happening

I have eaten here 3 or 4 times. I like the restaurant and especially the outside deck. I am still looking for something on the menu that I love. They have a large menu and lots to choose from. Everything I have eaten so far has been pretty good. One trip I had a New Orleans style fish plate that was super salty. Next time someone else ordered it and it was fine. This trip I had the seafood platter. It was pretty good. I will definitely try it again. Maybe steak next time? Drinks were all good and the service was great.

Great outdoor atmosphere until it rained. Friendly staff. Thanks Christina R. for trying to accommodate us when rain fell, though it was not possible with the puppy. The drinks were to our satisfaction. The burger was perfect, minus mayo and matchup as we forgot to ask for these when due to rain we decided to order to go. The salmon was perfect and the glaze sauce added an amazing tasty touch. The appetizer crab cheese jalapeño bites were also delish with a kick.

Kim works there she's an amazing waitress she helped me every single time I go there and the food always comes out great and fast. David also is an amazing bartender even though I decide not to drink He's very funny and nice to talk to you.

This is not our first time here… we’ve been multiple times and the food is good and customer service is just ok honestly… if I’m being honest I would say that the place has a great view to the lake and food is good not great. One of the times we were here was for my birthday and our food was so salty that I couldn’t eat it but the times before and after that it had been good which tells me that it was a mistake that time… I would recommend it just so you can try and see for yourself. I like their food and will go back . Thank you
