Sunset Beach Hotel - Hotel in Wildwood - 4300 Ocean Ave, USA

This is a great hotel in Wildwood! Rooms were very clean, the manager was very friendly and helpful. Always there. Only about a half block from boardwalk and convention center. We were on the 3rd floor and had an AMAZING VIEW! Parking is crazy as you are likely parked in under the hotel. But for us, it worked. We just walked everywhere.

I loved this place rooms where amazing definitely recommend and will book here again. You’re very close to the boardwalk and for the price it’s worth it. The service is quick and showed us to our room and parking. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are nice. But the parking spaces are slightly tight. Besides that highly recommend.

Positive: The staff was very help and extremely polite. I have to say excellent customer service. Negative: My only concern was someone unhooked the security cameras outside. I feel someone should have noticed that. However there was no issues that I experienced at all. It's just a simple fix.

Place is utterly disgusting. Stained bed sheets, had the maid, randomly walk into our room, Told her we needed new sheets and they were still stained. Doors are warped and bent so they don’t shut normally. There was a joining door with another room that was screwed shut. You were still able to clearly hear the yelling family next door and see light through it. Holes in the wall, rusted fixtures, the water smells coming out of the faucet, and there was a ton of black mold developing in the bathroom. I have a newborn and literally 30 mins after we checked in, we got another hotel that was cleaner. After confronting the front desk, they were hesitant and after wanting our money back, brushed us off and told us to call the site we booked on (oh I will). Then another guy basically called us a liar and went to take his own pictures. The only plus was the Location that was right next to the boardwalk. Attached are the pictures taken on August 5th 2024 from room 216. This is not what they show in ads for their rooms. Do research, do not go there, Starlux was better.

We stayed here with my family and have 5 rooms. All were clean and cozy. The young guy at the front desk is nice and helpful, very friendly. We had a nice time !

I booked a room for two night at this NASTY motel! I thought it was a good place for a great price ACCORDING TO THE PICTURES ON THE INTERNET! Don’t be fooled! Those pictures must be old because this places look NOTHING like what they display on ANY site. The rooms are filthy as well as smelly. Bugs throughout the room and the bathroom has mold. My daughter wanted to sleep in the car or go home. My family that stayed in another room on my same floor had a rodent eat snacks that was on the night stand. We discovered the snack was eating upon returning to the room from an event at the Conference Center. The office smelled moldy and was not welcoming. Parking spaces are big enough for 10 speed bikes ONLY! Did I mention the SMELL. We left the same day we checked in. We were not sleeping with the lights on to prevent being bit by rodents. The bathroom towels and hand clothes were dirty. NEVER BOOK AT THIS SITE! It needs to be condemned. Fighting for my refund but the main office doesn’t answer the phone when the third party company I booked with attempts to call.

We SO enjoyed our stay here! Our room was clean, and parking was easy. Abdul at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind! You cannot beat the location, it is right next to the main boardwalk. We will certainly stay here again next time we're in Wildwood! Thank you!

Upon arrival at this so called hotel we were met by the owner who appeared to be very accommodating, he told us where to park on the premises. Checked in and to our surprise the room was disgusting. The smell alone was enough to make you want to leave. The beds only had sheets and no blankets. There was an old table and 2 chairs next to the bed that you had to walk sideways to get past. The bottom of the doorway looks like it chewed or gnawed on and the pieces were not even swept up. Left out for a few hours and returned to see that a candy bar that was left on the nightstand was nibbled on by the mice that’s infested in that place. We packed up went to the office to let him know and pretended this was shock that his hotel had mice in this dirty hotel, which I don’t know why it’s called a hotel when clearly it’s a hole in the wall motel. Now he’s a voiding all call attempts from Travelocity. 🤦🏾‍♀️. Please do your research and ask to see it before you stay there. In other words stay at your own risk ⚠️
