Sunrise Inn Gardena - Featured Reviews (74)
I liked it they rooms clean but they just went up $120 when it use to be $90
I booked this hotel on price and www pictures. It is relatively close to to major expressways (2 miles either way to 405 and 105) and located near a main intersection in the heart of Gardena. It a two storey, long narrow building stretching back from the road, so the further back you get, the quieter it is. I was three rooms from the front on the second floor and it was pretty quiet even by my standards (I live on a quiet acreage). The exterior of the building is a little worse for wear, the reception counter a little too secure and the hallways are long and tunnel like, so I was wondering what I had got myself into. I was pleasantly surprise to find the room to be well kept and moderately appointed. It would rival most any chain's economy level rooms. The bed was a moderately firm kingsized unit. There was a small round dining table, microwave and refrigerator, but not lounge chair or couch. There was no closet and the hangers on the coat rack were missing. The TV was a 32" tube type with 120 channels which worked well, though the remote packed it in the second day. The bathroom was freshly painted and tiled, however the toilet seat needed replacement as the paint on its surface was wearing off. All lights worked, however there were no table lamps next to the bed. The telephone worked, however its receiver appears to have an intermittent connection problem. There was no charge for outgoing calls. There was no pool. The AC worked fine. Parking was in a lot that is fenced and appears secure. It and all public areas of the inn are video monitored. This place has a resident staff which appears to be a family. They seem to take pride in what they do, though they were not as available as I would have liked (seemed not to hear bell or phone).||||This part of Gardena seems to be lower middle class with a predominance of small homes. The streets are lined with small businesses, hotels, eateries, new and used car dealerships and a couple of small box malls. I felt safe walking around and people were courteous.
I felt that this place was a decent, clean family run place that was friendly. There was no lounge nor continental breakfast, but the area to me didn't seem very ghetto. There are seemingly decent Asian restaurants in walking distance, a CSV, a target store about a half mile away and an albertsons food store maybe two miles away.||||The rooms are simple but will cost a lot less than a big chain hotel, of which there are a bunch. I have simple needs, am not fussy and would prefer not to pay too much. Don't confuse this motel with the Sunset inn next door, which seemed less friendly.||||I was a bit concerned about the outside access doors and security issues therefrom, but felt that the area was pretty decent, so didn't worry about it and felt it was actually good value. Los Angeles is expensive in my opinion.
First off, this place is way tooo overpriced. If I knew what is really this place look like I even don't pay 10 bucks! Rooms are dirty, smell is terrible. No feeling of safetiness. If your respect yourself don't go there. There is no lobby or lounge. There is a registration little window. I was so glad to get outta there early morning.
Manager was very short never tried to fix our problem with a booking, only when I offered to pay in cash did she decide to help us. I’m missing my wallet and she refused to help, never even asked my room number just said “my housekeeper good, clean everything, nothing in the room” the man at least tried to help but when I asked for him she refused to put him on the line. I lost my wallet so I asked “do you have a lost and found?” She said no, I say “so if someone leaves anything you just take it?” She said “yes, your stuff your responsibility” so I asked “so you steal people’s money when they leave it?” She hung up. I’m very furious. Do not give this establishment money. And god forbid leave anything in a room.
they lady in the office didn't speak English that well, but she understood what I was trying to say. she helped me herself with my issue. housekeeping was very good also. clean large rooms. good stay
Good location, quiet area, small refrigerator and a microwave. Clean and spacious rooms. Cable TV on a big flat screen. Small parking lot but enough for registered guests.
I went to sunrise inn and paid 90 for a room with dirty sheets. I talked to the front desk person and she said she couldn't refound me my money but I could get another room. And OMG what a surprise I got another dirty bed sheet. At the end I decided to pick up my things and leave. I ended up going to Redondo Beach inn a block away. Their beds are clean and also the price was cheaper I paid 70 for my room. Don't waste your money at this sunrise inn.
One of the few traditional mochi and wagashi made by a traditional Japanese family from Japan. I â¤ï¸ this place and always buy Chikara Mochi here, Tokyo Central, or at Nijiya markets.
The best powerlifting gym in LA! Iâve been coming here for a year now and I canât see myself going anywhere else. Anything you could ever need is here and the gym environment is the cherry on top. The community here is so supportive and encouragi
