Sunrise Beach Club - Resort hotel in Daytona Beach - 1212 N Atlantic Ave, USA

We love traveling to the Daytona Beach area and this resort is one of the best. Small property but we love these smaller ones rather than staying in the high rise resorts. We walk out our door and are in their courtyard and out to the beach. Right now, due to the hurricane, their pool and hot tub are not in use, but we don't mind. We just love relaxing outside without having to use elevators, etc.

This place is the best. If you have kids they can play in the courtyard. Where else can you play in luxurious grass right by the ocean. We were here the week of Halloween in unit 12. We carved pumpkins and put them outside our door. We flew kites. Normally we swim a lot but the pool, hot tub and beach access are down for the moment. It wasn't much to drive south for 1 min and go to the beach there. Plus it's temporary. The property isbr far from most attractions. And 1 hr drive from so much stuff The rooms are a little dated but clean plus who give a muffin you're cooking with an ocean view. I'll keep coming here until the building blows away it's my favorite place to be The staff is wonderful and so very helpful.

Since last year's hurricane, Ian, the owners, who stayed at various weeks throughout the year, have been without the use of our pool and hot tub and also the shuffleboard court due to damages from the storm. It's still a great place to stay. The insurance company and board are seeking to fix the items that are damaged. Hopefully, by next year...... the staff here are great and the units are nice.

Highly dissatisfied. There were many regular/normal units available,but they gave us an undesirable unit. We have been to this resort 4 times before and always had regular unit. There are 23 units at this resort and only 4 other units were being used at the time we were there.

Lovely room, lovely location, but the maintenance man Todd made our stay completely unenjoyable. He was a very rude man who I will never bring my kids around again. The attitude and demeanor he had was extremely rude and is the reason I will never go back there. Has Todd never heard of customer service or any type of hospitality? That is a sad man and is the reason I would never recommend Sunrise to anybody. Why would i want anyone else to have to deal with that man?

The grounds were well kept. The rooms were good size, comfortable and clean. The only issue we had was with ants. We had ants everywhere. The hot tub and pool were both very well taken care of and the grills were nice. There was a beautiful view from our room and it was very quiet.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the view from our window was absolutely beautiful. The beach was practically in the backyard just open the gate. Oh I forgot to mention the washer and dryer was a plus. We had a Studio.

This place a super nice! Great place for kids. It is all gated so you don't have to worry. It is well maintained. I suggest bringing paper towels. Also make sure you read the rule book because they will be watching you like hawks and if you don't follow the rules they are on it. It was our first time there and the staff were dicks. Would of been a lot nicer stay if they had a different attitude towards their visitors. Also had some ants in the kitchen, but we just kept everything clean and it wasn't too much of an issue. Neighbors are all never nice. One gentleman let my 5 year old and I use his fishing tackle and go surf fishing one morning! Demographic is a mixed bag. Mostly older people, but also young families and children mixed in.
