Creative breakfast sandwich option in North End. With most of the breakfast options in North End being the usual American diner fare, Sunny Girl brings a breadth of fresh air to the neighborhood’s breakfast offerings. I recently took a visit to try a couple of their sandwiches and had a satisfying experience. Although the cafe was a bit small, it exuded a casual yet chic vibe that matched the quality of their sandwiches. They also shined with their house-made English muffins, which laid a moist and fluffy foundation for most of their creative sandwich lineup. One of chef’s favorite, the Lox was an ensemble of smoked salmon, creamy mascarpone, and confit fennel, topped with a refreshing citrus salad. The grapefruit's citrusy notes beautifully complemented the fennel's aroma, and modest portions of salmon allowed these toppings to shine through. A tribute to North End's Italian roots, Truffle Shuffle featured Tomato Conserva spread on one side of the focaccia and Basil Gremolata on the other. Its rich Italian flavors were further enhanced with black truffle pecorino, burrata, and pancetta. The East Coast Tuna was also an elevated take on the classic tuna salad sandwich. The crunchy iceberg lettuce and sweet onion added texture, while the Wild Sicilian Oregano provided a subtle yet distinct flavor twist. An interesting note was the unconventional wrapping of the sandwiches, with the aluminum side inside and the paper outside. I’m not sure if this was intentional, but the paper side is usually on the inside to absorb excess moisture. Thankfully, it didn’t affect the sandwiches that much as we had them within 15 minutes. Overall, Sunny Girl does a great job of packing refined flavors into sandwiches. While these might not constitute a hefty meal, they offer a delightful start to the day. Highly recommend giving them a try.
DELICIOUS! You will not be disappointed. The shop is TINY and the line will end up outside but it goes very fast. They also make the orders extremely quick. I think we waited 10-minutes max after ordering. We got the Sunny girl and the sausage egg and cheese. Both were incredible and so much flavor. The homemade English muffins were to die for. There’s about 6-8 2 top tables outside and a long wall to eat on as well.
Creative, delicious breakfast sandwiches! The lox sandwich had such a fun combination of flavors, and was a delight to eat. The indoor space has 6 stools on a counter against the window so not a ton of room, but they have a bunch of tables outside.
I pass by this place on my morning walk all the time and decided to give it a try. I stopped by this morning and ordered the breakfast grilled cheese sandwich. It was phenomenal. Easily the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever tasted. This place doesn’t get enough credit! All of the ingredients are fresh and very flavorful. Prices are reasonable. Will most definitely be back!
We had the most incredible breakfast sandwiches here, with staff that were friendly and personable and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. What a wonderful find in North End - a true neighborhood treasure!
50 reviews may not be much but all of 5* speaks volumes. If I could give them 6 I would! BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH ever!!!!! I’m not a big breakfast person - if I have breakfast it’s a celebration of food so any average breakfast won’t do. But this is hands down best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! Handmade English muffin, sunny side up egg with yolk that oozes out and covers the muffin inside and out. BEST crispy bacon! Freshness of avocado and just the right amount of cheese to not overpower the whole thing. Can’t rave about it enough. Go and FIND the place wherever and whenever you are staying in Boston, it’s worth it!!!!
Ordered breakfast sandwiches here. Very creative and delicious. My wife had the sunny girl that had a fresh made over easy egg and I had the truffle shuffle which had a tasty mix of unique flavors. The English muffin and foccacia were fresh as well. Order only took 10 minutes on a busy Sunday morning. Staff was friendly. Only downside is the inside is tiny with limited perimeter bar seating, so not kid or stroller friend.
Go for: Delicious sandwiches that you'll tear into and that will leave you fully satisfied. Avoid if: You're afraid of getting egg on your face. Something surprising: True Sunny Girl pros order ahead online and take it to go. Reservation needed? No, first-come, first-serve only Overall Experience: 3/5. The sandwiches are insanely delicious. While the wait times are relatively short, the line can be chaotic and frustrating, and the interior a bit claustrophobia-inducing. While there are a bunch of tables outside, it doesn't help much in the winter, so be prepared to take it to go. They'd also benefit from some hot sauce mas picante, as the current stuff has very little flavor. Iâve been eating here since I was a kid. I order the same thing every time. Pancakes, thin with extra butter with scrambled eggs and cheese⦠or I get it with bacon⦠or maybe add grits. I also very their signature ice tea, which this is a combo
Such a great place for brunch. We loved being able to sit outside. Our server was extremely pleasant and fun to chat with. I had the Mediterranean Star plate and it was filling, healthy and light. The menu is pretty substantial and it was hard to dec

Honestly itâs hard to put into words how important this gym is to me. I moved to the USA in early 2018, knowing only 1 other person. We now have what I would consider to be a large family full of friends who honestly, give me a reason to wake up in
The meat here is fully halal. The owner is super friendly. We tried the beef, lamb and tofu. All three were really good and tasty! Loved the flavors in each.
A charming, cozy cafe near Nubian Square. I was lucky enough to go when it was empty. The decor in the back is beautiful and would make for a relaxing study or date spot. The worker was kind enough to give me recommendations about the different past
