Doc is a great host! We booked the studio unit, not planning to spend much time inside. But the first two days of our trip we were stuck inside while TS Debbie was passing through. Doc reached out to us to see how things were going and then even upgraded us to a much larger space for no charge! He even provided us with a bottle of wine at check in!
The unit is small and quiet. It’s just a few steps to the beach! The beach was also very quiet and not busy at all. Doc even had beach chairs & umbrellas for us to use.
It was a wonderful trip!!
This place was a great place to stay. It was exactly as advertised. (Studio #8.) The shower was small, but we knew that by reading reviews, so that was no big deal. The affordability in reference to the location to the beach (20 steps or less), was so worth it.
The host was very responsive. He checked in daily and had a wealth of information about tings to do and places to eat.
The beach was beautiful and not too crowded. There are many shells to find!
The apartment was very comfortable for my husband and me, the place was very clean, and the bed was nice to sleep on too this property was just what we were looking for, a safe and not so crowded place to relax and enjoy, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils for cooking if is your desire to do so. The ocean is close enough, so for us with walking issues it was an A PLUS. The area has shopping centers and restaurants nearby if eating out is what someone is looking for. The host Mr. Schroeder, welcome us very nicely, he responded very quickly to message making the communication very easy. We will book this property again and recommended.
Quaint little 1-bedroom. Clean and comfortable. The best thing about this unit is the location - literally a 30 sec walk to the beach. And the availability of beach loungers is a huge plus. South is condos - beach can get populated but not crazy crowded. Immediately north is private homes and beach is never busy - this is a big plus as you will never have to worry about finding a spot on the sand. If you wanted to stock the refrigerator and do nothing but spend time on the beach, you could park and never get in your vehicle until it was time to check out!! Every thing you need is there except food, beach towels and lotion. Sunsets were beautiful!!! Owner left Champagne for us too!!
Nice place just steps from the beach. Quiet, although next to the road. Room is a bit small, but it's clean and adequately stocked. Personally we spend time in a room just to shower and sleep, so it was fine for the 3 of us and would be perfect for just me and my husband. Beach lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided for your use if you care to carry them to the beach (we did). Super nice feature as rentals on chairs can get pricey. He even has some beach toys and pool noodles for the kids to use. Located close to Johns Pass for a little shopping and some nice restaurants. Doc (owner) is by at least once a day to make sure you don't need anything, but is in no way intrusive. Talk to him if you want, don't if you don't want. Hes a very friendly guy and just wants you to have a great stay :) We will most definitely book here again!
Location is outstanding! Super close to the beach and chairs/umbrella/some beach toys and noodles are included. Walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. The beach is quiet and so beautiful. Doc is responsive and able to help if ever needed. We will definitely be back!
Condo was clean and location was great! Anything we needed Doc made sure to take care of!
The beds could be updated to something more comfortable, but the location and seclusion more than made up for that!

We so enjoyed our four night stay in this retro unit. It was just as described with a wonderful location and the kitchen had all we needed for a couple of simple meals. The host was very responsive to any questions. We hope to stay here again in the near future! Thank you Doc!

Super cute kava bar! Everything was b1g1 when I went - really good deal. Their kava was better than pretty much any other bar Iâve been to as well. Bartender was nice and informative too! Would definitely come back if Iâm ever in the area :)
