I feel like the public has been hugely betrayed by Sundy House. They have had same post up, for 2 years, stating it is undergoing major renovations, when there is not any sign of construction at the place! I think they went bankrupt, or something else Shady, has actually taken place! It says to email them and they will get back to you! All, lies. Ive emailed this place more than once, radio silence! They should just be honest, and let everyone know, they are closed forever, or until the property is sold!
This place is in the heart of Delray beach
I just drove by yesterday 9/9/23 and looked all around. There have been zero renovations. It’s been about 2 years since they closed for renovations and absolutely nothing has been done. They ,just posted a temporarily closed for renovations message on their website and have done zero. It’s not that I didn’t see it or missed something. I was there for about 20 mins looking around from all angles and point of views and ya, absolutely nothing. Why? I’m guessing there are no plans for renovation. They are just out of business. Not sure why they pretending there are renovations going on???
I attended a baby shower here recently and it was my first time visiting. It was a beautiful venue and the food was good! There are a lot of paths that lead to a pond which was a great place for us to take pictures. The shower was held in a private room which was nice and allowed the event to be a little more secluded. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Oh my! This place has to be THE BEST restaurant I have ever frequented. It is set among a tropical paradise in the middle of downtown Delray Beach. The brunch was simple and out of this world as was the chocolate birthday cake we ordered. The service was impeccable. Our server Brigitte and her assistant Manoushka were very friendly, extremely accommodating, animated, and so eager to treat the 7 of us ladies like queens. What a fantastic place to dine. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you experience this fabulous restaurant in the middle of a forest, streams, waterfalls, and wildlife!
Celebrated my birthday here tonight. I was blown away as soon as I parked. What a beautiful setting. Tropical, romantic and well managed. I loved the hidden tables around the the beautiful landscaping, tress, flowers and gazebos. The lights that guide the path and light up your seating area. Staff was amazing. Food was even 5 stars. This is now my new place.
Today we drove an hour to have a family brunch at Sundy House. It’s been years since we were last there and thought it would be a fun and wonderful experience. Disappointing! Our reservation was for 12:30 and we were not seated until after 1:30 without an offer to grab a plate and snack for a bit while waiting. When asked how long the wait would be, the young lady was never able to provide us with an estimate. I wish we would have left and dined somewhere else. It was a long drive and a long wait for some very average food. The selection and options were nice, but just not that good. The desserts were all of the big box store variety. Just not what it used to be, not worth the wait and definitely not worth the money.
Let me begin by saying I just stopped by to purchase a gift card, although I have eaten here and been very satisfied. My friend needed a special gift for someone and was not familiar with restaurants in the Delray area. This was the first place that came to mind because not only is the food delicious but the experience is really what stands out.
Beautiful outdoor seating in a lush botanical garden setting with gazebos, ponds, and statuary. Perfect for an intimate dinner under the stars or a wedding.
The interior of the restaurant is equally interesting with an open air veranda and central bar.
For a special occasion, I highly recommend the brunch. You won't be disappointed.
The only negative for me, on this occasion, was the length of time it took to get someone to help us and provide the certificate and no one really seemed knowledgeable about the prices for the boutique bungalo cottages available for an overnight stay.
This place is on my bucket list for a weekend getaway to include the brunch.
Zero stars would be more appropriate but it is a gorgeous setting. Had brunch here yesterday and the only good thing about it was the weather. It was like one disappointment after the next and we really tried to to find something we liked but everything about this place was disgusting. The food was inedible, even the scrambled eggs were burned brown, the bathroom toilets were all clogged, and if we had a server the only time we saw her was when she brought the bill, which kinda made it hard to enjoy the bottomless part. Such a beautiful venue but I wouldn't recommend this place if you are interested in eating anything.

I've always been the kind of person who's hot and cold when it comes to fitness. Sometimes I'm all in, running miles every day or hitting the weights hard. Other times, it's a struggle to stay active and keep my weight in check. Over the last decade,
